VXR 05 and VXR 06 tyres r different!

 

VXR 05= Front and rear 12" rims

VXR 06= front 14" and rear 13" rims

 

if both tyres price r the same, michelin close shop liao!

 

p/s: FXR-SP= front 12" and rear 13", so not all runners have the same size tyre!

hahahaha. anyway i got my bike back up and running already. JUST ONLY. went to a motordiam, charged the battery for an hour. charge till 12.6v. rush home. put the battery back, measure the reading, and it was jumping! (HEART PAIN). went to another motordiam with a non charging battery in a runner runner, change to a new battery to see if its the battery or rectifier. half an hour later, conclusion was the batttery, it had met its time. (thanks resse/spy - another lesson learnt)

 

I DONT WISH TO SEE ANY MECHANICS OF WHAT SORTS FOR A LONG TIME MAN! unless its at kallang kfc lah.

hello can anyone help me with the maintenance schedule?

 

i know change engine oil at sparkplug at 1k, 3k, 5k and every 2k thereafter (all fully synethic?)

 

gear oil change when changing belt at 12k

 

coolant change at 12k

 

Is this mainteanace schedule correct?

i recently changed to biturbo on my 2 stroke, vast improvements in comfort! only let down is the damping. looks thin but its hard as hell!

Hi everyone, my vxr05 got into an accident today. Would like to check if anyone know what is the cost of the front mud guard and also the front centre piece. Cause this two part crack already would like to check the price and where to get it.

i did ask them for it. but one lady from PSC told me not available for FBB plates onwards.. saying they order for FBA plates only.

I got a new VXR recently. One thing I hate is the tyres !!!

 

They really dont give me the confidence in the WET in super slow speed. In one wet day I pump different pressures just to see how it reacts but I am still dissapointed.

 

I hope Piaggio can help solve this problem with the Sava tyres. Such a good bike with dissapointing tyres and they call mine a sports edition.... Give me a pirelli or michelin.

 

Anyway.... how about a meetup at Jalan Kayu tonite... 9pm. Onz ?
