Any idea how can I do this DIY also? Tough to do?

Sorry for the late reply. :sorry: I dunno if it is a tough job, cos it was done by my mech. :cheeky: Think is the bending of the wire mesh part is difficult. :cheeky:

Hi all SW bros out there, for your info, i had change my handle bar balance as it is too short, thus change to a longer balancer which is also heavier, when riding back home on the expressway and during cornering, feels better and more stable .....

wonder if anyone had notice the change ??

I changed mine on the day i got my scoot. So used to heavy balance

SW 600 dun know local have ABS function, i think 400 is enough power liao( like super 4 ), and better resale value as it is under class 2A cat, if 600 cc, it is no big no small, maybe hard to let go later.

storage space wise, as i had owned a x9 Evo before, the SW have bigger underseat storage space, deeper glove compartment space, and if not enough, you can chose and buy the top box, 42L, 46L, 48L, 52 L or 56L or the biggest capacity in the market if you want to maximuse your storage space.

Some SW bros did not fit a top box cos the underseat is huge enough for them liao.

So you have save on four belt change:giddy:

Btw, how many times have you change your rollers and clip:confused:

I've changed the belt when I reached 41,174km. the reason for the change was that my friend selling his Silverwing so I exchange mine with his. his belt had traveled around 250km on it. I'm currently holding my brand belt when I go traveling since I bought the belt 3 years ago.

as for the rollers.... I not check them before.

Hi Guys

My swing had just clocked 24,000km and the "V" Indicator is on. Just some questions:

1. S$160 ( Belt) + S$80 ( Workmanship) = S$240. Is this considered expensive for belt change???

2. How do I turn off the indicator???

3. Roughly how many Km can my belt last until it is finally broken???

4. How much do i top up during my engine oil change( with & w/o oil filter change)???

4. The mechanic told me that there is no need for Rollers to be change as Stock Swing rollers can last up to 70,000km (At least). Any truth to it???

Thanks

1. What abt the cost for for the rollers and clips etc...?

2. Got to refer to my manual first or if there is any bros to answer this.

3. Some change their belt at 30K+, some at 40K+ and some even 50K+, so is hard to say.

4. 2.2l of engine oil if oil filter changed. 2l of engine oil if oil filter not change.

5. Can't answer this question.

 I think should be able to with some skillful arrangement. Its said that the underseat can store 2 full face helmets, if I'm not wrong its 55L of storage. There is 2 glove compartments at the dash as well, left side lockable right side ain't. Left side is alot deeper with a Power Outlet as well, right one is abit small just nice for my IU (so my IU is hidden).

:help: How do I pump the rear tyre? First time was easy as the inlet was at the "9 o'clock" position, I burnt myself slightly trying to pump it at the "3 o'clock" position. Must it always be roughly from the 6 - 9 o'clock position? Any tricks? Coz I can't see the inlet while seated on the bike... o_O

Juz pump in some air last nite. The rear tyre need to struggle a bit. I tried from the right hand side (if u are at the rear of the scoot) juz below the brake callipers and the axhaust outlet (be careful not to burn your hand)

Yeah, I burn my hand while wiping cleaning my right suspension, so bros be careful while pumping or cleaning your bike, let the exhaust cool down first !!! :weep:
