Hi folks, lets talk abit about pillion riding. Do peeps out there pump it to the recommended 200/250 or do you go higher or lower? I for 1 actually had the 'chance' to try it at 3 different pressures with 3 different passengers.

First time I didn't expect to have a pillion so my back tyre was around 225, and it did feel abit heavy at the back.

2nd time I again didn't expect to have a pillion but pumped up 235 for the 'just in case' pillion. This time it felt quite good.

3rd time I knew I was going to pillion somebody, so I went for the recommended 250. It felt slightly bouncy without a pillion, and still abit bouncy with a pillion.

My feeling was that 235 worked slightly better than 250, what about riders out there?

NOTE: Front tyre was a constant 200kpa.

I usually pump to 240, riding pattern as in I pillion occasionally.

I think not really on the tyres pressure ba as pressure will drop a bit over time.

Bouncy "feeling" might be due to ur suspension also.

U can try to tune the suspension setting to 3.

Bro, if you read back wat I said was "Interested, but my SW not out yet postponed to tomorrow" even if my SW is new to me good info or knowledge is good to have.

What I do not understand is the degrading statement you made about me. Is that the way you greet new friends or just plain nasty and malice on your part? And when I asked for explanation u said that "Kena whack". Are you implying I whack you? In what capacity did I whack you?

Hi

I ask one of the agent mechanic, regarding the exhaust valve. They says there isn't a need to service. Just normal engine oil change, belt will do. In short, simple maintenance.

I haven't ask my favorite mechanic yet. Cos I don't know how to describe that thing to him.. :giddy:

So how's it after the running in

Oh..

On paper in some forum says a good run-in gives a 10% more power to the bike. For my case, I am not sure but the smoothness and power is there..

That means..

I ride more like a devil nowadays. I try at 120km/h sometimes on highway, which had never happen to me while I am on my previous X9 before.

For sure, my riding pattern changed. :cheeky:

I don't throttle happy with SW in the rain...

My bike fishtail a few times in the rain even at 40km/h

I believe the bridgestone Hoops tyres are not good enough in the wet. :sian:

Thanks..
