Wahsey.

Just spent $200 re-doing the steering cone and the front wheel bearings.

The old steering cones got click click feeling when you turn them.

As for the wheel bearing, rattles when you shake it your hand.

Good news is that the steering is now lighter and controllable.

But.... bike still banks a little bit to the right (not as much as last time).

Still got a slight wobbly feel at the handle (sometimes).

Hmm... rollers? exhaust? rear wheel? rear suspension?

Will check 1 by 1.

check whether your tires are installed in the right direction.

check your front wheel bearings. though bike bought not long ago, who knows? haha..........

even if tires very new with wax, no issue at all.

hi bros...would like to check with u all...for SW, battery specs supposed to be YTZ9 or YTZ12? :bouncefire:

So i tink the shop shortchanged me by installing a YTZ9...any idea wats the diff? Won't last as long as Ytz12?

shortchange or not depends on how much was paid... 一分钱 = 一分货

difference =

YTX9 (YTZ) ... 12V, 9Ah, 120CCA

YTX12 (YTZ) ... 12V, 12Ah, 180CCA

Ampere-hours (A·h) is the product of the time that a battery can deliver a certain amount of current (in hours) times that current (in amps), for a particular discharge period. This is one indication of the total amount of charge a battery is able to store and deliver at its rated voltage. This rating is rarely stated for automotive batteries.

Cranking amps are the numbers of amperes a lead-acid battery at 32 degrees F (0 degrees C) can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell (7.2 volts for a 12 volt battery). In other words, CA/cranking amps determine how much power you have to start your car in most climates. The basic job of a battery is to start an engine; it must crank, or rotate the crankshaft while at the same time maintain sufficient voltage to activate the ignition system until the engine fires and maintains rotation. This requirement involves a high discharge rate in amperes for a short period of time. Since it is more difficult for a battery to deliver power when it is cold, and since the engine requires more power to turn over when it is cold, the Cold Cranking rating is defined as: The number of amperes a lead-acid battery at 0 degrees F (-17.8 degrees C) can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell (7.2 volts for a 12-volt battery). In other words, CCA/cold cranking amps determine how much power you have to start your car on cold winter mornings.

the SW uses a sealed type maintenance free battery and is fitted lying down. imagine if its not sealed... very messy :D

maintenance free batteries usually features gas recombination technology to eliminate water loss. It has longer periods between charges when the battery is in standby mode and once the high-gravity acid is sealed inside the resin cast, it is virtually maintenance free (no need to top up acid or distilled water).

last heard from ah piau (looi's) the normal compatibles would cost around $140+ but the stock or more "branded" ones could easily cost >$170+

so we better take good care of it... question is how, its a maintenance free fella :cheeky:
