After reading this forum for quite a while, I keep hearing that Wonderful Motor is a good place to do basic servicing for SW.

Think might be going down during lunchtime to do my servicing.

How long do you guys think it will take?

heh heh... if you want our personal feedback, can PM Sensible, SW9000 or myself http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Winks/b-wink.gif

why PM... can guess the obvious reason right :cheeky:

wouldn't it be better to ask the GTS200 riders?

if you are looking for a sprinter... a >240kg 400cc CVT scooter is not what you should be looking at

here are some reviews by others

Pirellis and HyperPros

Love my rear Pirelli and will get another when

it wears out (7500 miles so far). Very sticky,

great wet weather performance, good braking

action, same fuel economy. I did take

WingPilot's recommendation and keep them

at max sidewall pressure now. No performance

hit, although mileage didn't improve either.

The HyperPro springs made a remarkable

improvement in what I called bumpy

curve 'scalloping' which drove me bonkers

with the original front fork springs. Also

the bike doesn't bottom out anymore

on aggressive dips. No, I mean the

road surface (you thought I was admitting

something didn't you?)

Since I'm too primitive to post pics here,

PM me your email address if you want

pics of the HyperPro install. It's pretty

simple if you do basic wrenching.

any SWingers using Osram Nightbreaker? heard it is very bright, concern that the headlight assembly will be melted.

just put it on today - it seems brighter and also that the beam goes further...

will feedback more when it comes..

you can choose original by buying it from the parts distributor..can anyone direct him to the honda part distributor cos i'm not sure?

or else you can use EBC pads from Sporting Motors behind Mah Motors @ Moonstone Lane. there's a wait for it though..

after you get the pads its up to you where to go replace it - botak or future scootering or anywhere else..

rate at which brake pads wear out depends on usage. my stock pads are still running good after 14.5k kms... unless you abuse the brakes regularly, your pads still got quite a bit of life to go :p

check pads visually for wear-n-tear (thickness), squeaking sound could be due to worn pads, but could also be due worn blades, alignment or brake dust accumulation. some bros changed their pads recently but also got sound

Some reference to all

My rear brake pad is changed out at 20000km and already close to touching the metal piece that attaches the brake pad.

My front brake is changed out at 30000km. I still feel it can goes on if not for one side of the front brake worn off. Pictures will come in later.

My new front brake is using those after market type, not Nissin type which cost much more. But the braking effect is weaker. Quality comes with a price.

Not sure any brothers can share any better after market brake pad? I last tried EBC brake pad for my X9, I am not sure whether does it have for SW. Havent really did a search though

still stick with silverwing. Just awaiting for good deal only. I state is because some GTS200 state pick up on par... So heard already quite unbeliveable only.

I old already... no need to chiong fast fast. I always tell myself better to late 30 minutes than to be early 30 years..

So you mean average about 24km/l?I could only get 20-22km/l on my spec 2.

And $260 is just by changing the belt only? And is mileage before there is a need to change the belt?

Ans no one ride a SW600?
