Hi :btw: what is the color u order? From Loois?

Last time I can only choose between silver and blue.. :sian:

Got it from Mah Pte Ltd, got a good deal from them. I got the 'magnum silver metallic' colour. Actually wanted to get the 'pearl great blue' but last minute change my mind  I'm a bit fickle minded :cheeky:

You can't get JDM model brand new for 400cc. Only Euro model is available.

There is some difference between the 2 refer to the SW tech corner for info.

Thanks bro...so can i take it as there are more JDM model on the road presently as compared to EURO model?

i've seen the SW tech corner for info but to me i read it and how to identify between these 2 models but still dun know which would be a better choice or good.

I think both models in terms of performance are basically the same though I never ride a JDM model before. But JDM has more variety of color scheme.

If u going for new bike, take the Euro model. 2nd hand wise, check out for JDM model and see whether the seller's bike color fit ur taste

July 2004 to Nov 2006 X9 amalfi

Dec 2006 to Jan 2010 Honda SilverWing 400

Feb 2010 to Nov 2015 Honda Fit

Dec 2015 to Oct 2017 Toyota ISIS

Feb 2017 to May 2017 Honda ST1300

Jun 2017 onwards Honda Silverwing 400

Got mine last weekend, although it is a second hand, after polish, gilat gilat liao, later test ride, man.... the wing feels like a atuomatic super four v-tec engine, smooth and powerful, love it man!

Only got to get used to the handling. btw the suspension for front fork is soft and for the rear, the previous set to 2. any he kappo the toolbox also, now how to set to 3 or 4 for the rear suspension and improve the front fork suspension ?

Any Swingers can help as I do want to spend to put aftermarket spring on the front fork.

U need a pin spanner to adjust the rear shock. Use 3-5 for heavy load, 2 is standard.

Maybe you can change the front suspension oil or something.

What mileage is your Swing now?

Go read the Silverwing Tech Corner, Lokek wrote a good review on the front suspension spring.

If you are planning to ride the swing for another 3 years then it is better to change the front spring. 45k is alot of miles covered.

I am also looking for the Givi backrest, where did you go and ask?

If its the GIVI agent, they can order in.

Maybe we can buy together and see they give discount or not. :cheeky:

the agent do not have stock and quote forty plus $$, might as well buy a new box.

looking for custom make, maybe cheaper..

Saw in the web, the japan motorshow 2006, for Swing, they have the touring topbox cum backrest, like goldwing passenger type. very chio. but forget the website liao, last time I search under google search under image search, type honda sliverwing 400 ) and page by page see the image.

If any swingers can get the website and and we can mass order from japan to singapore.

The rear shock should be able to turn with bare hands too if it is not too stiff.
