As far as I know, Euro ones can go up to 170kph++ and JDM ones at most 160kph :cool:

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

:btw: my tyres gonna gone soon, u can try the new michelle (dunno spell correct not) tyres, 2MCT. Tink have SW size..

 

Michelin 2MCT? I read somewhere the Michelin Gold Standard quite gd...but prob is don know whether got stock for our sw...

 

What tyres r u using when u skidded? Yr exhaust pipe/right-side fairing damaged?My stock irc tyres r giving me worries...:(

the tyres i haven check yet..will check out soon ba, cos my tyres needto be changed soon..i'm using Bridgestone 'HOOP' , stock tyres ! Dry weather very :thumb: but wet weather :sian:

 

lucky not very jialet la, only a bit scratches on the cowl faring and the exhuast chrome cover..but not i changed to Arrow liao so no problem ! haha

Euros power cut at 170kph ! cannot exceed liao.. :cry:

 

tried on NSW to Hatyai..

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

Just wana ask, has anybody here upgrade their rear suspension for the silverwing b4? Just curious to how much improvement to the bike after upgrading. :)

Do u know which tyres offer gd grip on dry n wet roads? My rear tyre skidded a bit recently in wet MSCP...:(

try calling FS on Michelin tires, maybe they can help. :smile:

What is the best speed and milage for running in? the motor shop i think is always crapping~ better ask u guys as u guys have rode for quite sometime... i use to run in my X-1 at 70km/h for about 3000km....

Cannot be. I got a friend who is quite plump, with original windshield and sitting upright, he has done 180km/hr for many times. Its actually how u turn the trottle. To ride a scooter fast, is not to turn the trottle all the way. Sometimes got to return a little. This way, u can also learn how to gain more power and save fuel.

 

Latest FC on a EURO 400. 365km on 15.5 liters of petrol. Already 65km on reserve.

Cannot be. I got a friend who is quite plump, with original windshield and sitting upright, he has done 180km/hr for many times. Its actually how u turn the trottle. To ride a scooter fast, is not to turn the trottle all the way. Sometimes got to return a little. This way, u can also learn how to gain more power and save fuel.

 

Latest FC on a EURO 400. 365km on 15.5 liters of petrol. Already 65km on reserve.

 

 

maybe ur fren heavier then go down slope can go faster ? :cheeky:

anyway, i tried a few times already lei..the power cut at 170kph..when i go down slop it wanna go beyond 170kph, the engine will cut off and slow down then below 170kph it will on again..hai ~

 

anyway scooter not meant to go so fast la.. o_O

maybe your friend is more aero dynamic? :sweat:

 

365/15.5 = 23.5Km/L
