Hi

I got my SW at 12.2K. COE at $702.

I bought it when I was 26. Insurance for 3rd party fire and thief at $698 (appro) from AIG.

So machine price should be around 11K + ba. The quotation will be subjected to new COE price. :)

dun think i'm able to explain. dunno how to say also. u got to ride for quite sometime to understand. those who have rode a scoot for quite a while will understand wat i'm talking abt.

doing a fast pick up, sometimes cannot open too much, sometimes got to close a little if not bike won' trun as fast, top speed will drop & in turn will eat up more petrol.

something like this la...

Agree.....

I had the same experience and it is like finding the "right" biting point. Once you turn the throttle to the "sweet spot". it will initially pick up gently but subsequently fast and smooth from mid-range onwards.

Afterall, scooter are not meant for street racing, just stay cool, relax and enjoy the breeze.......... :)

Hi all

I was thinking of adding another addition lettering on top of the "silverwing" wording, which stick at both the rear side of the bike.

This word will be" 銀翼" in red. ( Like some ppl like to put "civic R" on their honda)

But I was unsure whether such customized work is available in Sg..

Swing generally is a low-maint bike. There are shops that are capable of servicing it but can't proclaim them as experts...

Refer to this link in the forum http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84026&page=7

There are some good scooter shops other than at Kallang area. Run through the posts in the link and u will understand why. Of course, no names mentioned..
