oh ha2ards

moi ride is Swing6. I think rather not really used to going slow. jus downgraded from Blackbird... therefore.... FC quite high.... throttle happy hahaah

2 wheeler told me that his FC is about 20.. mine is about 17 max.... quite a lot of diff.. maybe its due for servicing...... jus got her from another fella.

My initial FC was ard 24-23km/L. Now it has drop to 23-22km/L. My friends have tried moving off smoothly and slowly, it show abit of improvement to his FC.

so i have heard in SBF there is only 2 Swing6 b4 i came in? Where is the other one? if not i don have an apple to apple comparison....

THanks for sharing CCK.

I think its more of the maintainance rather than my riding pattern ?

Anyway once i hit highway... most of the time is 100-120..... ops... when i go to work.. so i guess that contributes....

With pillion... avg 100 only....

Currently the oddometer is about 6K, recently went for my 4th servicing (1st-3rd 'free').

Why is your 1st 3 servicings 'free'?

What brand/model of tyres r u guys using for your SW? I'm currently on IRC, so now seriously considering changing to Mich Pilot Sport. Bridgestone Hoop and Dunlop seem like not so popular...maybe i'm wrong?

NGK iridium and Denso Iridium gives different results.

Denso's firing is more precise, gives better firing, "pin pointing", better performance but shorter lifespan.

NGK's firing is more widespread, performance loose to Denso, but much longer lifespan.

Both are IRIDIUM PLUGS. But are only coated at the tip.

PLS look through the Denso (WEIDA) & NGK (FJT) spark plug manual at the shops before purchasing. Cos for example, Denso plug size 24, got 'A' & without 'A' ones. The outputs are different.

With the 'A' behind the numbers ones have better flow of firing. But that doesn't mean better performance. So got to find out from the plug manual to get the correct type.

Ever got people use 'performance plugs' and burn a hole in their pistons.

Hmm... I wonder how much can my Denso Iridiums last as I've hit around 14000km since I started using them.

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

Any performance enhancement if you changed end-can?

I have received a quote for Giannelli (with LTA inspection) for $900++ and was wondering if this is worthwhile both on the performance and riding experience...o_O

the perks they gave when I bought my bike from them. But the 'free' part is the labour... oil and etc. still have to pay.

Think you better bring spare plugs when you go north and know how to change it as well. :goodluck:

I'm kinda interested to get an SW4. Heard that there's a JDM and Euro version for the bike. Wat's the difference in terms of performance and machine price?

Even if mount end-can only, surely there is min a little improvement. This giannelli should be a full system. If you fix this exhaust, You should be the 1st silverwing in singapore to have this exhaust fix. So i suggest u try oversea forums to find out more.

Its not abt 'A' or no 'A'.

For siverwings 600 or 400cc using normal Denso plugs, model to use is U24FER9. As for Denso Iridium spark plugs, model of plug to use is IUH24.

Would u mind to share with us how much u change it for and what differents does it make

i paid $600++ close to $700..it all depends on the rate exchange i guess..cos bikeTech order thru USA ma.. for performance, i feel pick up is faster, throttle lighter, and improve in mid-range..power sets in after 110 km/h, rpm ard 5.5k ~ 6k..cant remember now..ultimately can feel pulling power when u throttle more after 110 km/h.

**thats when u remove the silencer, nvr remove can feel difference la, but a bit only. As from ARROW claimed, increase in 3 HP only la :sian:

Arrow will include a dyno chart too, but the chart is according to 22g rollers, my rollers are still stock, will change them soon.

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!
