The Dr Pulley rollers..good stuff!! My acceleration from the lights did not mess up...and the top speed is around 130kmh plus minus.... the most value for money modification I did on the DNA man!

Do it, Nor_man!!!

Dear all,

I have a few questions on the DNA as I'm taking care of a friend's bike while he is overseas.

1) Does the petrol overflow from somewhere between the fuel cap and the swingarm when you pump your tank over 7 litres? Is this common or is there something that can be done about it? I'm used to pumping fuel on my rs and seeing it come up to the top. Heh.

2) The darned 'helmet compartment' is damned hot. Burnt my finger touching the metal ring on the helmet I left inside after riding. Is there any way to make it cooler?

3) When the petrol level gets low, and the low fuel indicator starts flashing, how much more distance approximately can it go before it dies?

4) When you turn the key all the way counter-clockwise, the HUD comes on. What is this function for?

5) Is there any place I can find myself a copy of the DNA service or workshop manual?

Sorry for all the trouble!

P.S. Spidy, sorry for the noob question on how to lock the handlebars. The damned key was so stiff when I tried to lock the handlebars that I thought the lock was somewhere else. Hahahahahahaha!

Yes, it does overflow to the bottom if u overfill.

2) The darned 'helmet compartment' is damned hot. Burnt my finger touching the metal ring on the helmet I left inside after riding. Is there any way to make it cooler?

No way. Most of us use it as a rice warmer...u can buy KFC and after a 30 mins ride, your food is still hot...damn shiok!

3) When the petrol level gets low, and the low fuel indicator starts flashing, how much more distance approximately can it go before it dies?

At most 15km to 20km.

4) When you turn the key all the way counter-clockwise, the HUD comes on. What is this function for?

Park lights.

5) Is there any place I can find myself a copy of the DNA service or workshop manual?

A few of the guys here have photocopied ones. Ask and you shall have it.

Wat park lights? No Hud comes on for mine?

Am I missing something on my DNA?

> What if I drilled some vents on the front and rear of the 'tank'? Would that be a feasible idea? Have a couple of computer fans on the front. =p

Park lights.

> Do you mean park lights or parking lights? Coz I really have no idea why there is such a function on the bike. *laughs*

A few of the guys here have photocopied ones. Ask and you shall have it.

> Yes! I would lurrrrrrrrrrrrrve to have a copy of the service manual! May I have a copy pretty pretty please?

=p

P.S. When does the average DNA start to get a low fuel indicator going? Mine is about 3 bars of fuel. Is that normal?
