SBF DNAs Cafe 2009

Yeah, i went there with my wife. I crank 3 times to start e bike, still not veri gd as to get e technique. U were there for supper oso? I din saw any Dna ard lay.

 

I juz went botak to flush my coolant yesterday n fully top up, cant be hv to top up coolant everyday right?

 

I drove there to grab a couple of beers with some friends, didnt ride my DNA over there cuz its currently park at the shell station beside autobacs. wanted to say hi, but u already left after i parked my car.

 

NEVER GO TO THAT SHELL STATION!!! I believe got some Hantu there man! 3 times i pump petrol there, 3 times i kana problem.

 

1st time, after pump rode of slowly but still fishtail and i drop my bike.

2nd time, fuel cap wouldnt open, finally got it to open buy using a hammer.

3rd time, bike wouldn't start. so its currently park there waiting for me to call a tow truck tml morning. pffft

 

seriously, the whole day i was out, nothing wrong with the bike, was even at my bikeshop, installing the mulitvar, filter, gpr pipe. bike starts up with each press of the button. ride home, almost reaching home, saw that i was low on petrol so i went to that damn petrol station. and this sh*t happens.

Juz put on some white tape on the screw thread on the coolant tank n test ride 1 rd, waited for 4 10 mins n nv c any leakage, hopefully is e cure for it.

 

Rear suspension can b change at any bike shop? Not original but is oso as gd n only ard 100 per pair.

 

In wat circumstances u guy change e magnetic coil?

 

Does u guys screen show the avatar pix? Or is it only mine not showing?

I'm there usually from 6-7pm onwards till really late.. Or till early (in the morning), depends on however you see it. Ha.

 

Do drop by for a chat la dude.. No worries. No prob at all.. I like challenges. But currently we're very busy working on a really big cum challenging project.. Nevertheless, I'll try to make time, don't worry. Will really wanna do an excellent job on the project at hand.

Botak add is 494 Macpherson Road.

 

Contact No i dun hv.

 

Botak change a set of stock roller n belt will b 210 if i'm nv rem wrongly.

 

As for DR pulley, Nor_man shd b able to advise u as he juz change to 1.

Why is stock rollers & belt cost $210?

 

I recently changed mines to malrossi roller and belt = Rollers $38, Belt $95

total = $133.

 

Quite a big difference, izzit cos of installation fees?

I dunno lay, e last time i went there, dis was wat he told mi. Labour charge so exp? Or stock belt n roller cost more?

My bike couldnt start cuz magnet and magnetic coil kaput. From what my mech says, it kaput cuz i installed the GPR exhaust. The GPR exhaust that I bought 2nd hand is for VXR200, the header i change to VXR200 to high mount the pipe, but bcuz the vxr header is smaller than the dna, it cuz some backfire and damage the magnet & magnetic coil. My mech showed me the magnet...total in many pieces lolz.

At least i learn something new now. gotta sell that damn GPR exhuast and get a proper 1.

i was riding at abt 120km/hr.. but my engine slowsdown by itself once i hit 122km/hr. y isit?? power cut meh?? anything wrong? oh ya... staying in sengkang. ani more dna riders nearby?? got another 2 grey dna at punggol n hougang. anione else?? saw a red dna at seletar dam last 2 weeks. anione? saw another red dna at kovan last mth. anione?

ya botak charge $210 i called them earlier... shud be include workmanship

 

i did my at taihin - $159 include workmanship

belt, roller, slider, service transmission

den backside itchy take dr pulley add another $25... still need to add towing fee...

everything total up also near $210 liao..

 

i stay sengkang too.. grey dna..

Backfiring's NOT caused by small headers. Its caused by wrong jetting caused you installed an aftermarket zorst.

 

BTW, I really dunno why will backfiring break a magnet??!?! That's rather new to me. Most autos had been backfiring for ages now, they left it as it is, but never seem to share yr same prob.

 

Anyway, good luck to yr sales. You should get a proper DNA's pipe right from the first place.. Certain money cannot scrimp one IMHO.
