How to get cert for aftermarket exhaust bought on ebay? it is a new piece. how is the process?? or is it even possible?

is the brand available in SG? if not available, then good luck to you.

 

LTA will require alot of documentations prior to approval, the rates of approval are almost non-existence.

 

if the brand is available in SG, unless you have the certification, den you can go for your usual inspection. if not, you will have to go back to the dealer to get the certification before you go for inspections.

 

how much the dealer is gonna charge you for the cert, is another issue for you to nego.

I've called numerous local dealers, stating that I've brought the exhaust from oversea/eBay. None of them, willing to certify it ! Even the same model they have. I believe in this case they can't gain "much" from this certification. And to protect the company interest too.
