Can be done but very tough and troublesome and unsafe. Just pay $25 to tow to bikeshop. Or check with any bikeshop which can do onsite changing of clutch cable.

small bike is easy.

theres no problem with clutchless shiftng when moving

problem is moving off.

u got two option:

1) rev rev ur bike in neutral, then kick into gear + throttle at the same time

2) put in neutral and push ur bike fast fast then ride on, throttle + kick to gear 2.

p/s: remeber to engange neutral gear before stopping the bike

not safe to try to ride it without a clutch. life more precious than $25...either tow to bikeshop, or ask if they can go to your workplace and fix it for you.

On an empty rural highway in Malaysia and there's quite a ways to go to the next populated area there are ways to force-shift into a usable gear but in hectic Singapore traffic please do not attempt any sort of "limp home" maneuver. The other motorists are vicious and will not give chance to motorbikes in distress.

in my p.plate year of riding i think i had around 10 or more crashes, but none of them involve clutchless moving off/shifting.

So i figure it cant be more dangerous than normal riding.

I even manage to go from bedok to jb with a snapped cable.

And my 6 years riding and trashing the sp never spoil the gearbox with trackriding n clutchless shifting even on roads.
