Riding Kakis to Malaysia

Wanna ride to Kuantan on 2nd July!

 

Other places are fine too (:

 

A day's trip...anyone interested to join me and keep me company.

 

Am riding a super 4.

 

Last ride was on June 12th to KL and Port Dickson (also a day's ride).

hi nabil15, can i know what's your average cruising speed on NSH? Am keen to join but my bike's in workshop now & not sure if it'll be rdy by then - i always tell the mechanic to slowly take their time as i seldom ride the bike.

Bro nabil going kuantan u need to depart early as there is no highway to Kuantan.

 

All the way is trunk road..either take route 3 via mersing , endau or pekan and then kuantan.

 

or u can go by NSH and exit segamat and take route 22 i think and entered muadazam shah, gambang and kuantan.

 

the last time it took me from kuantan is 230pm and reach GP essor 645pm. to travel 350km.. phewww..what a long ride!

Hi Brother. My cruising speed is 110 - 120km/h. Sometimes it's 100 too.

 

Yeah sure...but I just prefer have kakis, so if theres no one, I wont continue with the ride. (:

ok i spoke to my mech today and was informed my bike will be rdy by next wkend for sure. i've driven to kuantan several times via both route described by the. personally prefer the coastal route 3, but i'm fine either ways. if you're willing to go faster than 120, karak highway is a more fun route, albeit longer route. it will be a hard day's ride though if you go up by karak highway & return via another route. anyone else joining this trip?

wah u drive up route 3.... that cool.. i rahter ride then drive up that route due to many many lorry travelling the road..overtaking will be a challenge in a car.. the muadzam shah route i have yet to try but kinda further distance..

i actually drove past this place 2 mths back - it's not very close to kuantan though. if staying over in kuantan i've got an excellent recommendation: blackstone. it's cheap & serves its purpose as simply a bed to sleep. most importantly, your vehicle is parked right outside your room, so less worries abt anything happening to it

i'm in for a day trip! wld suggest a nearer place such as melaka (via coastal route 5) or mersing (via route 3) though, but kuantan's fine with me too
