how much does a zeus flip up cost without psb approved ones? or do sg still have zeus unpproved flip up? thanks in advance!

ah boy there selling zeus at $160 with approved sticker.

 

eh.. without the approved sticker, if accident (choy!) cannot claim wan leh...........

buy and use one/two time only cos "colour dont suit my bike..

Selling my black Mfizz Evo2 for nominal price of $30 (bought at $60). Worn only 2X or 3X for lessons. Felt too fierce for lessons, so changed to white MHR OF508 (same as BBDC helmet) LOL! Not gonna wear the Mfizz after getting licence cos gonna wear full face.

 

Size S. If u wearing bigger size, can buy replacement inner liner and cheek pads from LAB. In such a case, it's urs for $20 only!

 

By the way, comes with zip bag.

If for bike lessons only, get the MHR OF508 (same one as used by BBDC). Fully removable Coolmax liner and cheek pads. Lightweight. But without any ventilation vents. Only $30 from Lim Ah Boy or $35 + GST from BBDC.

 

For those with ventilation vents, can consider the MHR OF505 (but no white, closest colour is silver, abt $45-$50) or the MHR OF523 (not sure abt price).

Another brand u wanna consider is PRO. Not sure what's the model name. With ventilation vents, fully removable liner and cheek pads. Lightweight. Not sure whether there's a white variant for this model (black is nicest for this model). $45 from Lim Ah Boy.

TO ME, HJC helmets are good value for money for that price range. CS-10 (HJC's low-end series; non-removable paddings) $120; CL14 (HJC's mid series; removable cheek pads only) $180. From Hodaka Motoworld.

 

Or OGK RG-X $180-$200 from Regina Specialities

 

Other lower-end brands - Zeus, MHR, Mfizz, GPR

 

Alternatively, u can check out the Garage Sales section of this forum. U might just find a 2nd-hand helmet that's practically brand new (only worn a few times or only worn for size testing) at a bargain price.
