hmmm... prretty tempted to get one... but the colors pretty limited..

This is my 1st FF i bought. Its does feels kinda stuffy at 1st, coz i think i'm too used to open-face helmets. But when on the move, the air vents does help alot in air circulation inside.

I dun know y u need sound proofing but when u close the visor, it does block out most noise, which i think isn't helpful. Might be dangerous if someone is trying to warn u of danger by shouting/horn, u can't hear it very well. Also, if your bike suddenly produces a strange noise(some parts r going spoilt) while on the move u can't detect it.

hehe. sound proofing is more for reduction of wind noise. some helmets have certain structures in the design to cut off wind noise... esp the part from the back of the neck.

u try riding with by shrinking the back part of ur neck, there's less wind noise... probably this is the basis of some helmet design : )

Did u ask for the plain or got design one? Both diff price leh...

 

Anyway last week, i went Regina, asked for a plain white FF helmet, said budget was less than $200. I wasn't serve by the blond hair guy. It's a black hair guy that looks like the brother of LAB. He was quite busy, n it was close to closing time(ard 7+/8pm). Then when it was my turn he showed me a Shoei brand helmet i think, said it was good n only $260, ask me to raise my budget abit higher, i said cannot, no money. Then he showed me another brand, OGk i think can't rem, said it was within my budget n ask me to think abt it while he go serve other customers.

When he was free i go tell him i want the cheaper OGK helmet, he hesitated for awhile and said: 'wait, ok lah i give u a good deal.' and went to the back to fetch me the rjays helmet. He said give me discount and sell me only $200. I tried it on, go look at the mirror, discussed wif my fren, and i was hesitating coz $200 is really my max i can go and after that i'll be broke. I was leaning more to the cheaper OGK helmet when he said: ' Ok lah $10 my treat, u take it for $190!' So i made up my mind n go pay.

 

So after the long story i think its all down to your luck n who's serving u that day. And i think if u just go down and ask for the rjays price they'll just give u their selling price. U have to play around and tell them your budget 1st i think.

i went to lab last sunday to fix my s4 belly pan & ask 4 the helmet price..

 

i was quote ogk ff4 $500+ at LAB.. & ogk aeroblade at $200+ hmm... the mech

 

ask me to comeback again if i want 2 buy the helmet n he will give me reasonable
