ever since i start this thread, i had never visit PS again.. maybe not in near future.. i rather park elsewhere then walk there..

wanna go PS, either park somewhere else or take public. knowing that PS's carpark got thieves like that, y will u wanna fall into their trap? shouldn't we prevent it?

 

if someone is working there n rides, then no choice. BUT still, they can choose a better place to park.

but the prob is, that is the nearest FREE carpark! so where in d world are u gonna park if u werk there n ride??? park pavement oso kena fine! seems like anywhere we park our bikes, there'll always be a punishment for all of us riders.. sian ar like tis..

PS actually quite accessible by MRT. if i work in PS, i would sell my bike cos going there to work, unlike other places out of city, need to pay ERP. bike parking at carpark always have a risk. its either u risk it or not. the choice is yours. other got itchy hands, wat to do...

mayb we can make a list of bikers who are interested to volunteer themselves to execute Silent Hunter's plan.. when there's a problem, it's either we solve it asap or juz heck care.. den all the biking community will suffer.. even if we report this case to the management of PS or even the Police.. i dun think they will really b keen to help..

I have scouted the parking Area at Plaza Singapura over the weekend, and sketch out a map of the carpark.

 

Possible escape routes are highlighted in RED.

so the best escape route is the staircase. which if need to ambush, its at other levels which they might standby a bike to get off the building.

i think need more walkie in this case cos u dunno when n where will they strike. so every level got one standby is the best unless we r concentrating at one level n ambush the escape stairs both one level up n down.

after viewing the map i think that most likely they will access thru staircase 1 and 2 to escape. i work in PS before.. this 2 staircase very quiet. not much ppl will use this stairs becoz it does not link u to the mall. but however it does link u to the parking lots at other level.

 

BTW...... wad if the thieves are a forumer also? r we exposing our plans to them?? LOL.. hope not

We will need to gather forces and scout the area a 2nd time before deciding on the plan, every floor is slightly different, (eg: top floor has no 'UP ramp' 3rd floor have a short row of bike lots near the escalators ) so we will also need to do a dry run to ensure everyone know their places.

i caught ppl stealing AIR-CAPS with biting_point b4 ! practically loosen from

cARs in MSCP , put in pocket ! end up police came and sae theY cant do

anyting .. cos thEy somehow manage to throw away b4 police came .. but

me as witness = useless ! =D

to me, as long as the cashcard is in the IU, then it belongs to the owner of the bike. n taking things from other bike is considered stealing. if the cashcard is dropped on the floor, then there's no ownership so anyone can take. this one nothing wrong.

 

if can catch them red handed like with pics taken, or cashcard with them, then mayb the police can do something.

 

or i suggest that everyone use a marker n write their bike number on the cashcard, then if its stolen, it can b verified. or names n NRIC is best but by letting the thieves know ur name n NRIC oso not good.

as long as we can prove that the cash card they steal is not theirs, then shd b no prob. if they throw away n denied everything, if the police r willing to retrieve the cash card n verify by finger print, then 1 point added for us.

 

 

n if we can get all riders to do their part, ie writing serial number of cashcard down or bike number on card, things will b easy on the verification part.

asking them to verify firgerprints etc .. wa bery difficult ah .. i dun tink they

will go up to that extend to help u just cos u caught some buggers taking

cashcards from ur IU ! and nex , i still believe they wont charge them with

sTeaLing even if u caught them taking from ur IU even with pics ~! hmm

any frens whos in the police force ? maybe can try asking them wad exactly

we can do .. and seriously , PS de cashcard missing cases rates are HIGH !

 

so we shall see wad we can do now b4 carrying out anyting !

remind you to take cashcard, and avoid uneccessary troblem like buy new card, $20 plus fly away.. etc etc
