Fellow X8ers, I have 1 unit of Borsch HID headlight for sale. Comes with ballast and box. Slim ballast makes it easier to stowaway.

H7 6000k bulb, just plug and use with our OEM H7 headlight unit on the X8. No splicing or rewiring required. Going for $100 NETT! Best for those who ride frequently in the night or travel to Msia often! Installation not included.

Cash and carry, will test the lightbulb set on the spot before you purchase. PM me for more details. Thanks!

Will be posting up the pictures of the brightness of the light in both daytime and night time and how the slim ballast is stowaway.

Hi - wonder if anyone can help me with cost of servicing. My bike has been laid up and some things that need to be done to put it back and need to be change are :

1. Brake pads

2. Steering cone got some problem (i think as turning handle bar like not smooth like that)

3. full servicing as recommended above (300?)

4. respray entire bike including black plastics panels and box.

5. some lights not working

6. A new battery

7. Fork leaks

Anyone can advise (roughly lah) how much you think will cost to do all the above.

Thanks a godzillion hor . . .

A full service of changing belts and rollers would cost you $220 which I paid for at Future Scootering.

Steering cones, brake pads and battery would set you back another est $180++.

Servicing and changing of fork oil and oil seals would be another $80 to $120?

Lights would depend on which kind is not working. Paintwork would roughly set you back another $300 - $400 bucks for a single color. You do the maths...

anyone know where to get cheap tachnometer? is the installation hard?

installing is not hard but looking for one that is suitable n nice is hard.

u can't install those that are used by cars as it uses 2-4 cylinders. for 2 stroke bikes no issue but for 4 stroke , it's a no no.....
