ouh...PGM also power ah bro....but dream bike RVF man....Even though i dun use it on the trace. Its just for my passion..

There's no comparison here. The PGM will wipe the floor with the RVF in terms of speed. But then again, the rider plays a big part too :)

i think this bike is worth buying and keeping, if u got passion for these kind of bikes.

400cc v4 engine, gear driven cam, mini version of the legendary rc45 ect2.

for me i bought NSR250 PGM3 because of passion,

love for 2t grand prix bikes, 250cc my fav class in GP, and i've loved NSRs (road bikes and race bikes) since primary one.

and for me it is swee, one of the most beautiful bike in my eyes, ect.

i dun care about riding class2 bike because they're too fast already for singapore roads and even for pasirgudang (i'm not skill like some racers here)..

and no class2 2t with modern frames hehe..

and 2a bikes sports tyre is only around $250+-

a friend of mine that got RVF before ( now Spec 2 ) had horror stories about it...he joked ( no offence )...it stands for Rev hard = Very F. :p

maybe he was unlucky & got a **** bike from a previous **** owner. he got so financially "burnt" that he is sticking to S4 from now on he said.

want fast & "young" sport bikes ? go the class 2 route like mechwira recommended.

want a "cheap & young" bike ? go the S4 route like my friend did.

my 2 cents, personally IF i DON'T mind a "old" & "problem" bike ( when i can afford the money & time :p ), i will rather go for PGM 3 like KeraKing did, it is just as old but still more "shiok" than an old 400...think both are equal in terms of age & potential problems...but the reward is so different. :)

seriously, how is your PGM 3 ( dream bike of the smokey 90s ) bike ? how is it ( reliability & costs of maintain, service, repairs ) ? or you only use it as a 2nd bike now ?

Thanks & Best Regards.

no point "explaining" & "debating" why "old" & "obsolete" 250s are such a "great deal"...it is better to not let majority find out about those "secrets"...quiet sshhhh...lol! :)

think PGM machine price more costly compared to a RVF seh. if i have to choose between the 2, i take the RVF just cos its V4 :p i think bro, you consider your willingness to do additional spending. if you are willing to go that extra effort then ok ah. at least that factor will mitigate the risk of having a problematic bike. make a list of pros and cons between the spec 2 and rvf and let that help you decide. you need to be clear on your main objective of the bike though. do you want it to be practical or you just want something sexy etc :)

if u think of "saving" money instead of throwing it on a bike, get a decent superfour like everyone else.

Don't buy 2A la, straight go 2 if really want to not make any losses.

yup, unless u want to stay 2a for some time..

or u can buy 2a first, then make it as a trade in for ur class2.. so u got to findout how much the trade in value first

How come suddenly talking about PGM? hahaha kinda off topic guys.....pls advice me guys...Thanks...:)

sorry for the sidetrack, let get back to topic...

i repeat myself & also many others here...S4 or class 2 ( "Ruin Very Fast" vs "Run Very Fast" hahaha, good one, ups! )

since you specifically chose Spec 2, exactly same choice as my friend ( who went from RVF400 to Spec 2 ), i think you are the "heck care about FC, SPEED RULES" type of guy.

seriously, you will still be slower than class 2 ultimately..."speed"-wise, might as well save money for class 2 bike. However, if you want a "long-term" ( more than 3 years ) bike like my friend, go for S4 ( heard that other specs better FC )

Thanks & Best Regards.

Ouh....I planning to keep 2A bike at least 2 years la..can save up to but class 2 bike by then...Means spec 2 drink more patrol ah? walau....I dun wish to get below spec 1 as its kinda old....spec 3 is my aim but too exp liao...lol....so either spec 1 or 2 loh....as for RVF....As people say that RVF cant go up to KL and stuff...So i guess either i get spec 1 or 2 as i heard many people brought it all the way to KL with no problems....:).....

It ultimately comes down to what is your budget.

You working or studying?

Can you full cash either one of them?

If you are on a tight budget.. Best to stick with something that is common where parts are cheaper i.e. super4...

worried about fc? everyone gets different fc.. some can tell you they get 25km/l but that doesnt meant your bike(same bike) will be able to do it..

If money is a concern.. sticking on 2b will be a better option.. save up for a brand new class 2..

Well said bro....But my point is between RVF and super 4 and my questions are written above...My most common question is whether RVF can tahan till KL as that bike is my first choice....so far i nvr come across about that bike going as far as KL...I have no idea why? even though is a 400CC bike and so powerful....If the ans are mostly no than i might as well go for spec 2 liao....No need to think liao...hehe..:)

I own a Version S, and have ridden my friend's RVF. Both bikes are for different riders. If you plan to go touring and take long trip get the Super 4 hands down. If you want to go track or just love sportbikes then RVF. I love my S4 but if I can turn back time. I would buy an RVF.

Btw RVF has their own special spark plugs, can't use any normal plugs.

Kupchai can go up to Thailand, 2B 2 strokers can go to KL, whether you plan properly and can tahan or not only.
