SCENIC SINGAPORE RIDE

Hi all, beeen a while since i posted.....

I was planning to organise a ride around Singapore one of these sundays to the long forgotten spots in Singapore...... Places we havent been too in a while,,,

Places will include, mainly riding and photography sessions and makan. Anyone interested in joining this ride? Places ridden to will include some of the following,,,in no particular order.... here goes

Mount Faber

Telok Blangah Hill Park, Alkaff Mansion

Labrador Park

Haw Par villa

GAP, South buona vista rd

Tanjong Rhu and a walk over to Kallang indoor stadium

Marina Barrage

Malan road off Alexandra road for lunch and Maaaaaybe a beer

ECP

Then head north west to CCK Farmart for a breather

Lower pierce reservoir

yishun dam

and finally maybe settle for dinner at changi village.

Its meant to be a scenic ride with amazing photos to be taken and also for us to touch base with places loooong not travelled to....These also happen to be my fav places to hang out in singapore.... If we have enuff response, instead of heading up north, we can do a day ride right here in Singapore.. I would think, its best that we have at least 10 bikes for the ride to make it more memorable. Upon confirmation on interest, the rough ends will be sorted out...

A show of hands please guys..... Its gonna be held on a sunday starting at about 9 am and will last thruout the day till dinner..... Please allow me to organise this to give back to VARA for what its been to me, thanks.... I will be the first to sign up,

need some advice, AS Phoon is offering a 10 yr old bike with renewed COE at 10K (havent nego yet) bike condition is so-so only, when I was there to look see, the bike could not even start..how?

i will be collecting my XLV 1K this thurs carb model. been dreaming to own this Enduro so long time back.and here it is! after giving up my Pan Euro. and really happy to meet you guys soon.

1st: side pannier Metal box

2nd: Leo vince exhaust

3rd: tall windshield

4th: aftermarket Fuel Pump

SCENIC SINGAPORE RIDE

Thanks for the overwhelming response to the idea of a local ride.... After a discussion with some of the bros here last friday at Hot, stuffy and sweaty Simpang, we have a suggestion of the ride being held on the Last weekend of June.

That will be the 27th June 2010.... Now can we have a show of hands for the ride...any violent objections?

The route will be planned out in due time but not disclosed to anyone till the ride day itself... This will add to the fun factor of the ride

Our Bro David has also voiced out interests in checking out BOB'S HOME STAY off Kota Tinggi and from reviews, it seems like a nice place to hold a VARA Get together before the end of the year.

Lets all come to the next meetup and discuss the interests....
