Hi guys,

 

I'm looking for aftermarket exhaust for my 2002 Vara1k. Anyone got lobang or selling their exhaust, pls contact me.

Just seeking kind pointers from experienced tourers here:

 

a) Which screens (normal ones will suffice, no need the Airflow ones) are recommended? Givi or others?

b) Which and where are these dealers located in Sg?

c) Approximate damage for each of these screens?

d) Anyone has any used one for sale? If yes, model no. pls so that I can google for dimensions and appearance.

Sigh... I wont be able to share how the feeling is like because I havent had the chance to ride it yet.

No Class 2! Yet.

 

A friend is riding it for me at the moment, and he is loving each and every moment. Only complaint he had was that the seat wasnt flat, and a little hard on the bottom. May want to check out aftermarket seats (read from MCA that there is a shop at Tradehub that sells specialised seats) once I get my licence to ride.

 

As of now, the Vara I have came quite well-equipped, all thanks to the previous owner, and I dun think I will have much to add on. Like what an angmoh biker said when he saw it, "You are ready to go to Laos!"

Wah, you so lucky got full equipt bike. As for me nothing much eccept for a strobe lights and some switches. Still got lots to do at the engine dept(funny sounds coming from within). Do you know where exactly is the shop at Tradehub?

Havent checked it out before, but perhaps others here may be able to comment?

I've no complains abt the bike so far. When I took the bike arnd 1.5mths ago, i jus did the full servicing n recently serviced n tuned the carb as it has irregular idling. After all that, I'm pleased with the bike.....very smooth. Still adjusting to the bike as I've been riding mostly off road bikes but I'm loving every moment.

 

Right now, everything is stock but I'm looking out for aftermarket exhaust...pref 2nd hand coz buying a new one is ex.

Am looking at screens for possible installation on my Derbi instead of the Vara. Backside itchy want to reduce the wind fatigue.

I will check out Chong Aik. Been wanting to do that since Day 1.
