i went to this HongKong Cafe at Lot 1 cck and had the chicken and lup cheong rice. basically it's like claypot rice with no burnt bits and it comes in a medium sized bowl. had to wait 20 minutes but the taste is damned nice. anyone have any idea how to prepare it?

i was thinking just put rice in rice cooker with some chicken pieces on top, cook until rice nearly done then sprinkle the sliced sausage on top with some vegetables. maybe can drizzle some dark soya sauce over the top when everything is cooked to a soft consistency.. any chefs/ cooks here can give me some advice?

Butter or Olive oil

Garlic

Onions

Ham/chicken and mushrooms or swedish meatballs

Rice wine

Milk

Spag, I prefer Linguini

Parmersan cheese

Tabasco

Parsley

1.Boil ur spag in Water. As said add salt in the water will have better effect in taste and increase boiling temp.

2.Scoop the spag out when it turns fat and juicy :p

3. heat a pan and throw a pc of butter. Alternative is olive oil if you are health conscious.

4. throw the sliced garlic in wait till u can smell nice aroma.

5 throw sliced onions in as well.

6. throw ur main ingredients which is your slice chicken breast, ham and mushroom oso not bad for creamy spag.

7. stir abit and when ur chicken starting to turn white, ( which means going to be cooked ) add rice wine. Be prepared..... ur pan will be in fire ! :cheeky:

8. Stir vigorosly to prevent ur ingredients beging charred. flip if you are skillful.

9. when fire died down return ur pan to the stove and continue stirring. once u are confirm chicken is cooked, throw in ur spag.

10. stirred well and add milk.

11. Lower ur fire allow it to simmer for few minutes. Stir once awhile to prevent bottom chao tao lol.

12. Once ur milk starts to thicken ( taste urself ) then it is done.

13 serve ur spag in a plate. Add parsley, pamarsen cheese, tobasco at ur own preference.
