Alright, for all the bros who'll need to adjust the windshield in future, the bolts are 6mm flange bolts.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/08/a7u6yzuv.jpg

The thread is 6mm. The hex head is 10mm. Get a small socket set. Very useful. With 8,10, 12mm should cover most of the bike.

from image, our stock windscreen costs RM310.30, which is approx SGD125. thats not too expensive, cuz i heard the stock silverwing one goes for approx 300-400?

Got bike must ride!

Haha, just done 1000 km. smooth and not so much of vibration initial when going at low rev.

There is a write up on hard break in and the normal break in.

its entirely how u wanna look at it. i went ahead with the hard break in. but its slightly harder on a scooter as we dont have gears to down gears and up gears. so need to ride brake ride brake to allow enging brake.

not to sure, i ask what was the price he quoted 180. its another 12 dollars if its exclusive of gst.

Did my research online, else where was selling 140++ sing dollars. still have to add shipping cost which is about 30 - 40 bucks.

so i feel that it reasonable that online and in singapore difference is not more then 30 bucks.

But i may be wrong

Thanks for sharing

2kg/cm2 = 28psi

2.25kg/cm2 = 32psi

2.5kg/cm2 = 36psi

Thanks for the conversion and information.

So given the information, that i normal pillion my partner, i would be looking at 32psi for front and 36psi at the rear.

LOL no way i see the both of us combine less then 90kg.

Got mine abt 3weeks ago, 700km now. change EO at 400km to motoul, really smooth ride now.

Handling wise... still got to try harder to get use to it(previous bike R6). especially squeezing thru during heavy traffic...

Pros =

HUGE storage space, got a shad48 box too

Comfy ride for both me and pillion

Cons =

Body length Too long!! longer then most parking lots space..

Thats all i can tink of.

Black Maxsym - Tampines !! (blk 4XX)

Cheers and Happy CNY fellow bros, cny period traffic is horrible, ride safely ! :cheeky:

yea. the maxsym is bloody big. too long and wide. i hate parking sumtyms. sum of the lots really pathetically small, i end up taking 1.5 lots lei. not to mention the butt protrude out so far, some more wif topbox. really need to look ard to make sure i dont block others from entering or exiting the area.

Yup underseat is pretty gd. I usually put my sch bag + raincoat + tools. Still some room to spare. Helmets go into the topbox.

OTR pricing depends. Im 23 total $13.3k. So ur insurance will affect d price. FC is 25km/l (im 95kg btw n i dont ride gently). Normal svc engine oil 2L + filter every 5k. Spark plug only 1pc. Full svc (belt+roller) i tink ard $250 @15k km. nt sure. Hvnt rch for mine. Cheap to run IMO. Then ur SP hw? Haha

Say assuming that the bike OTR (exclusive of insurance) is $13,000

Interest is going at 5%

maximum Loan is 5 years

Your total loan would be = $16,591.17

Interest paying would be $3,591.17

Monthly installment would be $276.53

If you were to include your insurance, say its $1000

Total loan would be = $17,867.94

Interest paying would be $3867.94

Monthly installment would be $297.69

your monthly installment would be higher the shorter the loan tenor. and of course higher if you include your insurance.

Also, u may want to check should you do an early redeemtion, is there any discount off the total amount.

Hope this helps.
