putting down the sidestand works?? i really dun get it ah bro.. o_O

the sensors on the floor are more or less 'metal detectors'. they detect if there is any metal on the sensor. if you're riding small bikes, your "metal area" sensed by the sensors may be too small to trigger it. Lowering the sidestand increases "more metal" been detected by the sensors. normally just stop within the "square box" will do.

To do list:

- Steel brake hoses (In progress...)

- Rewire bike

- Repaint fairing and clean up bike

- Replace exhaust system (DONE!)

there's one at stamford road, leading to a short tunnel to marina. That time i and a harley wait for 5 min. and this cool guy pulled up his full face n say, gotta wait like idiot huh, then he beats the lights, followed by me. doesnt make sense that sensor-controlled junctions wont work well for bikes. It defeats the purpose totally.

some of the comments here are hilarious... haha

just position your bike along the line. or any line on the road. meaning that both your tyres must be on top of the black line. confirm the lights will change. trust me :thumb:

yes...

preciously, sensored... sorry for the mistake...

i feel tat the authorities should throw away this idea as it is totally useless to have this sensored thing since it is not sensative enuf for bikers... if having this sensored traffic light signalling system, it muz be able to detect all possible mode of transport including bicycles... otherwise i feel that it is a total waste of resources and tax payer money to be investing such a technology but it isn't sensitive enuff for bikers...

for those who wanna know what i mean, try waiting for the traffic light to turn green at woodlands drive 44 going towards woodlands drive 16, and another junction at woodlands ave 4 going to admiralty road west...

hahahaha

i was there 2 days ago, iniitally stop before the sensors, waited for couple mins than realise i never activate sensors. than go over the sensors a few times, 5 mins past, than i just beat the lights. damn pissed off.
