Without a camera, it will a waste for such nice view.

We keep each other update by phone, and adjust our timing accordingly.

You need reliable bike, not a fast bike, usually we cruise at 100-120km/h.

As long your bike can last 10,000km before the next service, should be alright.

Many of us has been there before, and some many time.

It is not "that hard" to ride there, you need time (3 days to reach CM and 3 days to come back).

Raymond & I both are first timer, we just ride following the map.

Anyway, that kind of ride is best to go by bike, only with bike, you can really enjoy the cold-air, the scenery !!

Agreed on that.

Should do it again but this time will bring along my sleeping bag...just incase we want to have another SANG SOM with some bbq roasted chicken under 5 degree.

bro, wanna tell us how much u guys spent for the trip?

With breakdown if possible, its a great trip but much planning needed.

TQ in advance

I agree. A breakdown of the costs would be nice. If its not too much trouble of course. Thanks in advance! :smile:

Thanks for reading and hope you'll enjoy it.

I didnt really keep track of my spending, I just eat, drink, shop, go disco...

.... no money go ATM withdraw.... :sweat:

I dont have the exact figure, btw there is breakdown :

1) Petrol = S$400 (5200km in Thailand) + RM200 (1700km NSH) ==> S$480.

2)Lodging = S$274* (total)==> S$137

We change our plan few times, lost the hotel deposit...!! :weep:

3)Food, usually 100baht per meal (per pax) is sufficiet, I dont have the exact figure.

In total, I spend near to $1800 in the whole trip..... :giddy:

*Additional $300 for tyre change+CF card+ new headphone. .:cheeky:

From what I learn from others, they avarage spend $1200.

Petrol cant save much. Most of the expenses on lodging, (stay 4 stars hotel or guesshouse make big difference), food (we eat, drink, disco) and shopping.

Hope this helps, in give a rough estimate on the cost.

Thanks Mr Lau.

It should give a rough estimated guide for those who intends to do something similar. I've read your trip report. Its a wonderful feeling ain't it doing something like this even if its only once in ur life.. :smile:

I hope I get the chance too..
