6 Android phones auto turn on at the same time

I have 6 HTC Android phones put together in a paper bag, all powered off by me yesterday. They were placed on a table next to my work desk. Sometime this afternoon I suddenly heard the power on tone sounded from them. I look there and no one was there. The tone was overlapping each other. After a while I went to check - all 6 were turned on.

 

4 HTC Desire, 2 HTC Wildfire. All default OS. All with Bluetooth enabled.

 

Is this a common issue? Like some specific frequency can power on Android phone?

Did all the 6 phones come from one source?

The phones are for a company project, hence when not in used they are kept together.

 

They are all 2nd hand phones. Each of them bought from different sellers.

Okay. This is interesting. There are a million and one reasons why electronic things behave in such a way. Like why does my computer hand og or restart itself if i receive a text msg when i put it near it. Or how come today cannot start then i put it insde the cup board for weeks then turn it back on it works perfectly fine?

 

My guess on how they all turned on would be perhaps strong radio signals or some sort or some electromagnetic interference.
