RE: OWS Universal Cleaner Usage

Hi all.

today i just went to brought a ows universal cleaner to clean my chain, and a motul chain lube. i just finished cleaning and lubing my chain. but i found out that i used half the bottle of the ows cleaner. and my chain is not even FULLY CLEAN. i just arga arga then ok liao. cos when i know the bottle left half only, i wanna save. can say i cheapo. :X

so i wanna ask if any of you guys also using this ows cleaner as well? do you guys also use almost half the bottle everytime u clean your chain? or can anyone recommend some other chain cleaner for me? greatly appreciated.

 

*P.S* this ows cleaner is very very good. $15 a bottle. i dunno cheap or ex.. this is my FIRST time cleaning my chain MYSELF. cos i also just brought the Easy-Stand from forum ytd.

best is to use toothbrush and cloth to clean the chain.

just by spraying cannot clean it.you need to use cloth to clean.

no easy way out.

hi. thanks for your feedback. yes i do use toothbrush and cloth. sorry i didnt stat that out. is it normal to use so much of it?

i washed once wif the universal cleaner... mine left like 20% of lesser before cleaning. wat i do is use wd40 first then brush then use the universal to wash away the wd40 .after that i think i stil gt 10 or 5% left..LOL.. alot wont recommend wd40 to wash the chain... 2 cent worth

do not use WD40!.it bite the O/x ring

mama le mong wont eat the rubber meh?? cos i did my research, quite a number of clips in utube they were using wd40 to clean its chain... how gd is ma ma le mong?? cos i nw using dupoent, seems to be easier to wash off compare to maxima chain lub
