Pickup/Acceleration CMI

Hello all,

 

Been riding NSR150 for 2 months. Just went for full service. Found out piston burnt, and the exhaust v dirty. So, cleaned exhaust and changed to a new piston.

 

Now, my bike the pickup and acceleration not as fast as last time... Any clue why?

Valve also like never seem to open alr... The sound not there alr.

u chg piston/piston ring means nd to run-in bro... be gentle for the 1st 1000km.. d bike surely like laggy one.. take it easy..

So its normal huh? The gear 1 and 2 now really cannot make it... V v v slow the acceleration. I changed piston 3 weeks ago alr.

 

Now start bike, the engine sound v hollow. Does tuning helps?

 

Got another problem just arise,

 

When I put in key, on, and run, no neutral light and the head light also off. When I off the switch for light, the neutral light appear then I can start bike. When bike start, then lights will on

 

Sad life with all this problems

You must run in. You slowly run in ah, nicely. Just make sure you dont end up like me.

 

Run in finish already also bike still lousy. Haha.

Do your running in properly.(do a google)

If still persist, go back to your bike shop and rectify problems if foc.

If they want to charge you, i suggest you go to another shop. Job isnt well done.

 

the headlight prob is a small issue and you can probabbly live with it.

 

Trying to rectify that will cost time and money on top of your engine problems.

 

owning a vehicle should be easy and not with all these bad mechanics.

if u saying ur acceleration now is VERY VERY VERY slow.. i suspect ur shop didnt do a good job.. it shudnt be SUPER slow... jux that the engine will feel a little heavy wen running in.. try n use first for a few weeks.. if still d same, follow wat Hydher suggested...
