May i know which class 2 has the best reviews n performance overall?? im in dilemma to get which bike for class 2... thanks guys...

There are so many choices. 600s to 1000s and above. Sports? Cruisers? Nakeds? Tourers?

More info would be helpful if you are asking for advise.

Cheers.

Without knowing who you are, i really am tempted to say, what a st@@@id question this is. You haveto look around and also try around. Luckily bikes are not human you can try them around without getting any disease. Please go to many motor shops. I recommend loois. Delve into your hearts and pocket oooooops. Ts started in 2009. What happened? Am i in time warp?

All class 2 are generally good performance.

Whatever you get, you probably would prefer an adjustable seat for improved comfort, and long distances riding, better weather protection, ABS and reasonable weight to make it more comfortable on the road. The machine is not very high. Goodadjustable windshield. Stability in both low & high speed. Suitable for all traffic condition. Big gas tank size for long distance travel. Effortless power delivery. Seating posture can be in both upright relax, racing or half racing stance. Personal safety and protection of bike while falls. Good ample storage. Less maintenance needed. And lastly reasonable price tag.

how abt sport bikes?

between K9, R1 & CBR1000.. whc one is best? in terms of performance & maintenance..

All japanese superbikes have similar maintanence and reliability. In terms of performance also similar, not sure about suzuki, But for the R1 09 onwards the engineers designed the crossplane crankshaft. It provide more "feel" between the throttle and the rear tyre.

As for CBR1000 honda went for saving weight and centralizing mass. So the bike feel lighter and handles like a dream.

It really comes down to the truth, you will never feel much difference in terms of power on normal roads on all 3 bikes you mentioned. Even on the track it takes an extremely good rider to ride them to their limits.

My advise, go to shop sit and have a feel of all 3. You will have one which you really like. Then it's your choice.

I would say:

If want to be practical, easy ride in the city - street bike like fz1n, cb1000r

If want for tracking and performance - sports bike like r1, cbr1000

If want touring and long distance travel - sports tourer bike like fjr1300, st1300

If want relax sitting position and harley spirit - cruiser like vmax, diavel

My Ride History:

1997 - 2003 : Yamaha SRE 100 a.k.a My First Love

2001 - 2004 : Yamaha Sports Y110SS a.k.a My First 2-Stroke Bike

2005 - 2012 : Honda Phantom TA200 a.k.a My First Cruiser Bike

2012 - 2012 : Honda CB400 Spec II a.k.a My First VTEC Love

2013 - NOW : Yamaha YZF-R1 a.k.a My First SuperBike

seriously, i have heard tht certain bikes leak esp wen u r stuck in congestion (wen going JB, for example)

im not too sure if tht cld be due to the lack of maintenance or the user prob or is it juz solely coz of wear n tear of the bike or the age of the bike..

whc is y im asking.. between R1, K9 & CBR1000.. hws the performance n maintenance.. opinions & feedback from the experience and based on experience is BEST..

I'd recommend the Suzuki B-King, Hayabusa engine slotted into a naked street bike, great performance in a comfy position, easy procurement of spare parts, low maintainance cost and decent FC at 18km/l, can't beat that in my eyes!

No bike is supposed to leak anything stuck in a jam. That is clearly maintanence issue. All 3 bike same maintanence, same performance. Although if you want quality, go for Honda CBR1000RR

R1 not so popular nowadays. I believe the most popular sportbike right now is zx10r. But i dun like its front view, the ram air too big making it looks weird... Hehe... :cheeky:
