Hel will cost about $60 per line plus install.

KR will need 2 lines.

If there's EBC pads for ur bike, get them.

Of course, these items will cost a premium.

But if quality products are what u looking for, then go for it.

If not, i'm not going to recommend u anything below par.

Cheers !

First to make things very clear, we do not know il4 well. He does not hang out at our place nor are we close. We probably saw him a total of 3 times at our place and once or twice outside of it. But I think we will know him pretty well soon...

il4,

Wow, when you said that you were going to post something here this afternoon when you stopped by I did not think that you were so passionate about Dp brake pads...

Stop by ok, when you need a new pair. I will make sure that we have stocks for your bike.

BD,

Drop by, we have them.

redname,

Thanks for your interest in DP brake pads.

Prices are $85 for HH+, $63 for Sintered. Since there's this interest now, we are also extending our promotion to DP brakes, please go to the advertisers' board for detail. It's 20% off listed prices for a limited time frame. It's a good chance for some to try out DP brakes personally.

HH+ delivers great stopping power in dry/wet/hot/cold conditions, race proven by many

Sintered are predictable braking pads meant for street use

In reply to your question, there is no simple answer as to sintered metal pads spoiling brake rotors. Organic and other compounds can also damage the rotors. The saying that good brake pads use up the rotors in braking is simply a myth.

Sintered metal pads are simply easier to screw up in this department because being made of metal based compound, the pad compound will have to be researched deeply to provide stopping power as well as durability and also rotor care.

Sintered metal compounds are aircraft braking technology trickled down to motorcycles. Organic compounds are basic mixes of organic material fibres and binders.

In short, sintered pads of the wrong brand and range may damage your discs and not provide stopping power at the same time. It's simply a matter of pad material being too hard. Others wear out like there's no tommorrow, coat the fork leg and brake caliper with brake dust.

DP brake pads will not damage your discs (period). I can't say that for other brands, that's for their representatives here to say.

There are many many cheap brands and make that say "HH performance" but they just do not deliver as they are not HH rated pads. Pay attention when you buy brake pads. I know of at least 2 copies of another very famous brand and they are available in Singapore too.

Yes we have them.

Drop by for a chat.

I've read from overseas forums that having sintered on the rear is not really a good idea cuz it bites more than it requires.

Not good for those newbies or inexperienced.

What's ur take on that ?

Eh, you need to travel some distance to "break in" the pads before they are seasoned...

If you only install them this morning they are not seasoned yet hor...

Dun tell me you go do stunts immediately after installation....

if u read the one of the above threads, its said tht for tht brand of brake pads, u only need 20Km of breaking in, so thts pretty fast, don't tink its the break in thing. anyway S4sixty is exp enough to know bout pads needing to break in, so dnt tink its about breaking in

A set of brake pads for your bike is normally $63 x 2. Email me or drop by, let us show you what it's all about and why it's good for you no matter what bike you ride.

It's wrong to believe that small bikes do not need good brakes.

The middle finger's a private joke...

Got me good... Must watch my language around you...

Anyway glad it's good for you. About the rear brake, the best way is to learn to control the rear brake and not steer away from setting it up properly with good pads and discs. That way, SHOULD the rear be required in a bad situation, the additional stopping power will help.

Cheers and :thumb: for Bernard !
