i'm another long term user of EBC HH pads.

used themfor my track bike many years ago and used them for my z1000 , now using them for my Speed Triple.

i even used EBC pads for my BMW 630i.

never felt the need to try anything else.

they bite like a crocodile , perform well under hard riding and are quite durable overall. recommended.

however, it is best that one changes the hoses to steelbraided ones so that the braking feel is even better. just pads alone wont do enough.

U can try vesrah semi metallic pads.Just brought for my f4i. Very good for $18 a pair. Use for my previous sv6 for track session and held up very well for the one hour track session without any fade....Good rotors life plus some benefit of sintered pads...

Just got myself 3 sets of Vesrah semi metallic pads (front & back) after reading hachi's review. Good initial bite than my previous Goldfren & WP pads. Value for money! Thanks bro...

Btw, I always encounter new pads grabbing on my rotors after changing new pads. It's so tight until I have difficulty to push my bike. It also caused my rotor turn very hot after riding. Is it normal due to the thickness of new pads?

OOH~ they are surprisingly cheap. what bike are u riding?

My ride is GSR400. Good stopping power I would say. But I do hear the downside of scatching sound from the pads. Still probing the causes o_O

Totally agree with EBC. I used to use Vesrah for my Beemers and SBS for my CB750, but EBC's (with their reputation, I thought I'd give them a shot. I'm sold!

You can get them direct. Got my full brake set direct from EBC UK. Including freight, two discs, two pairs of pads and a pair of shoes cost me 70% of what the distributor here was selling for, and one and half months earlier (distributor would have to order too, but told me to wait for 1.5 months so that they will accumulate the my order with their bulk shipment).

Guess what, I ordered and paid on Thursday night. They sent it immediately. Got it on my office table on Monday lunchtime. Can't beat that! They are fantastic!

Go EBC! Website's really easy to use. If they make brakes for your bike, an email will clarify all you need.

I'd like to check out throttle's recommendation for steel braided hoses. It's a logical pressure principle which I haven't played around yet. Cheers for raising the point, Throttle!

Why rush? It's the journey, not the destination ... :shades:
