That page isn't for showcasing new colours. It's an alternative colour scheme programme available only in Japan and in limited areas there only.

 

Just pick your preferences and send the request in. Honda corp will try to meet your demand: location to pick up, colour choices, finance.....blahblah.

 

They hope to capture bigger market with this 'customizing' scheme.

actually, I hear otherwise.

 

I have been doing my fair bit of S4 hunting; been to Boon Siew, ASPoon, and a number of bike shops.

 

Honda produces S4 for 2 major market; Japan Domestic and Export Sets.

 

The thing is, yellow, blue and maroon is the standard colour for S4 export units. They come straight from the Honda Japan production line and to markets like Singapore, Europe and America.

 

The regular colour like black and gray are for the Honda Japanese Domestic market.

 

That is to say, if you are buying from Boon Siew, you only get yellow, blue and maroon.

 

But there are also people who 'parallel import' from the Japan domestic market to bring down the cost, hence you get the other colours. And from the domestic market, you can request for special colours.

 

Not sure if I am confusing you people.

I prefer white colour. But I brought Blue...

White colour look MARCHO!!!

 

I don't buy white due to need to wait for months Wait lau... tat time cannot wait..

 

 

But blue also nice...

personally i like this version, at least dun hv the hugh round headlamp, nicer mirrors and adjustable fork but it comes w a hefty weight of 175kg. this one's available at a few bike shops and i saw it at mah motor

Ask yourself, why you choose a Super4 ?

 

You need to know what you want first, for street riding ? for sports ? for touring ?

 

Is it the fireblade give you problem ?

 

Why not wait for your CL2 license first, you will have wider range of bike for you to choose. From 80cc cub kia, 600 track bike, 1000cc sportsbike, 1300cc tourer bike, 1400cc chopper bike....

s4 spec3 is a fantastic bike. its' capable of being a jack of all trades, but unfortunately a master of none. but if u r looking for a bike that gives u a little of everything (comfort, tours, sports, street riding) at a good value, then it will do ok.

 

having said that, i agree with MrLau. finish class2, then options open up. and examine what u want first.

But due to some back problems, i decided to drop klass 2... kind off wasted but have not choice... doc's recommendation. The current fireblade coz me backache at times coz i have to bend alot.... but i fine super4 quite comfy..... tried riding up with my fireblde to kl i was die tired.

pretty wasted, guess the tough bit is the lifting of bike.... but in anycase there r lots of rd bikes and more choices for class 2...... bikes like fazer looks comfy

 

anyway be consoled, it's not bad lah s4 is a gd choice and in sg with rampant TP ops and speed cams, a more powerful bike will be under utlised.

but white colour bike needs a lot of TLC unless u like polka dots (same goes for black... come to think of it, it goes for all colours! )
