went up via da longer but scenic simpang pulai route n down via da old bt equally rewarding tapah route....

 

pixs will b up soon....need to rest my sore neck 1st...having frequent NSH crosswind all da way back to SG

Day 1 - The Begining

Avg Speed was 90 to 120kmh due to alot of construction

 

Depart Sg ard 0600

 

1st top up @ GP

 

Reach Ayer Keroh for Breakfast and 2nd top up ard 0930 till 1030

 

Reach Rawang ard 1230 for 3rd top up

 

Reach Simpang Pulai for final top up ard 1400

 

Goes up all the way to Strawberry Park Resort ard 1500

 

Ard 1700 went to Tanah Rata Town for dinner @ indian Restaurant

 

Day 2

 

Went out for for short tour ard 1200 n back to hotel by 1530

 

Tried da indoor swimming pool in da evening

 

Decided to try our dinner @ the hotel restaurant bt @ 2000 its was packed with da weekend tourist, so decided to ride @ nite to Secret Recipe @ Brinchang Town

 

Day 3

 

Ard 1300 wanted to go to G.Brinchang Summit and Boh Tea Estate. In the end went up da wrong route of which it was all off road. Turn back and off to the tea plantation which is nearby.

 

Problem on the way there is da high road humps which frequently scrape my header

 

Returned back to hotel ard 1600, rest awhile and call a cab to Tanah Rata. Intention was to have dinner there bt in the end brought so much snack @ the night market.

 

Day 4 - Return Trip

Avg Speed was 120-150kmh, gd thing on way back not much construction

 

Depart from hotel @ 1130

 

Head to Ringlet Town to top up abit to reach Tapah RSA

 

Reach Tapah ard 1300 for full tank

 

Reach Dengkil @ 1430 for 2nd top up

 

Reach Ayer Keroh A&W for snack ard 1530

 

1630 depart to Pagoh for another top up, reach there ard 1745

 

Reach GP ard 1900 for final top up

 

Reach home ard 1945

GreeKo, from your itenary, you think 2D1N is good enough time to go around the place?

 

I'm travelling alone and won't be using much of the accomodation's facilities. So means more time for me to explore.

 

Any other places that I must visit besides the plantation and farms??

try 3D2N, book ur hotel online which is cheaper....da 1st day when u reach wud be rather shagged from da journey

 

place to visit...try da summit though i cudnt find da way there, there some waterfall ard tanah rata area oso though u had to trek a bit...

 

hmm, i saw a tourist map of cameron highland @ ringlet petrol station (petronas), other petrol stations are @ brinchang...pretty useful to find places of interest though i bought mine @ mustaffa centre....btw, try da fried mushroom near kea strawberryfarm, just b4 brinchang town...its one of my fav

 

N lastly, enjoy da scenery ard tapah and simpang pulai route n wear a warm liner inside ur jacket...its freezing riding @ nite...:goodluck:

Just back from CH and the place is great... managed to go up to G.Brinchang. View is majestic up there!

Thinking of going CH on 24th to 25th March, either same day come back or stay 1 night. Looking for a riding buddy, pillion also welcome.

 

Riding speed : Ard 140km/h

 

Hope can confirm with me by mon 190307.
