Ducati monster 400 vs Super four spec 1

hi guys.. got a few queries here.. i think this is a very close comparison.. but i think ure views and comments will be the deciding factor on which bike i would like to get..

 

these are the few questions thats bugging me

 

1) a well-maintained ducati and super 4, both stock, which one will produce more problems?

2) ducati has a shorter service interval, unlike super four. its cheaper too. so overall in a year, will i have to fork out more just to service a ducati?

3) which one will have high resale value in 5 years time?

4) common problems for a spec 1 & monster 400?

5) shops to recommend for both bikes? (its hard to find the monster 400 at a shop nowadays)

i own a s4 but i would change to ducati m4 anytime! if i got the $ that is.. dont forget ducati servicing is quite ex? any part spoilt = GG i think. big hole in pocket. but up to u bro.

Lets put for example. A car hit it hard when you parked it at the carpark.

Damaging the engine fins, fuel tank got dented in and the headlight cracked.

 

A s4 repair would be in the hundreds.

The m4 repair would be in the thousand.

4) s4 quite hardy . duc can be problematic
