Need help with choosing a bikes, im a newbie!

Hi guys,

 

I got my license not too long back, just sold off my car and looking for a economical bike for transportation.

 

 

-I have a class 2B

-looking for either a guilera or any cruiser bikes

-2nd hand only

-my budget is around $2500-$3800 k

welcome to biking world... btw $2500-$3800 k can buy ducati liao..LOL...wat kind of help do u need? helping u to inspect bike or intro u the type of bike that u stated?? wif ur budget i believe it is easy to get a decent bike.. cruiser u can consider phantom Ta200.. gilera gt 3 type, one is DNA (very rare on the road and kinda old too), one is vxr200 last seen plate should be FZ ard 6 yrs old or even older, after vxr is st200 liao.. there is one more that look exactly like vxr200 but is 2stroke instead of a 4 stroke... price wise idk, mayb u can browse thru garage sales for the market rate.

You already said Gilera, then Gilera la. Get the 4 stroke one, Gileras are quick and nimble bikes, more than I'd like to admit.

Your budget can give you a rather wide selection...

 

Why not a honda PCX? It is relatively new plus fuel consumption is really good. Furthermore, it is 200cc.

 

I don't think there are much good cruisers around.. phantoms are great, but they have a problem with fishtailing due to the heavier rear.

Just get phantom if u wan a crusier? Cheap and easy to maintain

depends what you want ??? sportsbike (cbr 150 , r15) cruiser (phantom) street (pulsar 180/200,cbf 150,rxz), scooter (runner,x9,pcx), kup cai (spark,wave,x1)

Your intended use?

Gulira are relatively high maintenance for a 2B 4 stoke. You may wanna to consider phantom 200.

I still would recommend scooter for small cc bikes...Why, cos smaller cc bike needs too much gear change because of their small power. Sometimes or most of the time you need to time your exit,lane change and etc....

But having a scooter, you should know its acceleration after sometime and you just concentrate on riding and forget about shifting...I would say much safer...
