Anyone know where can I get the above item ? I got a Garmin 205W but it does not come with a holder for motorbike , Been serching online but can't find it .

Ram Mount is the best

This will still do the job, it's cheaper and wterproof, but this kind of mounting will not survive if you plan to do trails.

I'm using it for my 205w as well. the design is kind of a knock off of ram mount. so far so good. but do note that its not very waterproof, as theres an opening on the top for the headphone cable

When touring, its usually the rider that give way first before the bike itself.

got box got tour.

Thank you so much Demon ! Me happen to find it in Sg http://www.essentialmount.blogspot.com/p/iphone-mount.html , btw anyone using it ?

I am using a similar one to hold my Iphone when I ride.

As far as waterproofing, it has kept my Iphone dry.

All the Nuvis do not have excellent sunlight screen and having a plastic over the screen will make viewing the display even more difficult.

The handlebar mount is cumbersome so you need more space to mount it. The waterproof pouch can never hold it's position no matter how much the plastic screw is tightened.

The opening of the pouch is supposed to face down :)

even so, water still managed to leak slightly

Hi bros,

I actually bought this Givi GPS pouch meant for non-waterproof GPS for my FZ1.

But I would like to share this particular issue I face with this pouch, which I think is relevant for many of these pouch type GPS holder.

When I ride in Sg or NSH, the glare from the sun reflects onto the transparent cover and make viewing the GPS next to impossible.

At night, its not a problem.

You can try to adjust the angle of the pouch here and there, but many times due to the configuration of your bike's handlebar, the GPS holder is always at an angle to the sun.

Some pouch I see have a sun cover/ visor of sorts, those might be better I guess. :D

Just sharing my experience. :D
