Lost passport after tuas checkpoint

Oh dear, yesterday after passing the infamous Tuas checkpoint, just after the maximum height of the bridge, I saw this Busa. Looked arounnd for the rider incase he needed help. Met him half a kilometre away and he told me lost his passport. I told him I will slow down and look for it at the shoulder until Johore immi. Couldnt find it. asked the custom officer if anyone handed over any passport. they said noone.

To Busa rider, sorry I couldnt help more as I returened back to Singapore, I couldnt find your passport and saw you riding slowly on your bike. I REALLY HOPE YOU FOUND IT.

Anyone has any idea, what could be done. Personally, I feel since he hasnt cross Johor, he should return back to Singapore and report his passport lost. I also asked singapore side if anyone seen his passport. All look blur.

most probably flown off from his pocket

i encountered that 2 years back. luckily managed to find it back with the help of an old malay uncle. passed some money to him for his trouble too

Hope he found it.. Never practice keeping the pport in pockets.. Ride safe!

I also lost mine a while back between 2nd link and M'sia custom. Forgot to zip up my tankbag and the thing flew off somewhere in between. U-turned. Did a one pass search, couldn't find anything. So I went back to SG, reported lost at custom and made a new one.

 

Lesson learnt. Secure the frakking thing before you ride off.

 

But think abt it as a blessing in disguise. W0ould be worse still if you lost if after you've cleared M'sia checkpoint, right?

Hey Dues, I saw he had a bag tank on his Busa. I beleive he must also had put his pp in there. I agree, you made a report at Singapore side. Imagine losing after Johor immi. I lost mine at Segamat years ago. Luckily my good friend was riding behin me and saw if flyinf off. sheeeeh . imagine the problems ensued.
