Hi guys! :)

So I've read about the wireless Bluetooth communication device for riders to communicate with their pillion or other riders. I would like to know where can I find cheap motorcycle intercom in our country? Probably would like to get one in the future.

Hope to get some response. Thanks! :p

True enough, must go for quality. Any idea on the range of price for this uclear bluetooth helmet communication kit?.

I believe for SENA, it comes as a pair. Whereas for uclear, it might be single units.

CoStar, or any others out there : Can you share your experience with it? Does it have issues fitting into Nolan helmets? Eg, N43, N103?

uclear is single unit but you can try and bargin if u take a pair. Personally I find uclear sound quality to be good and there is no mic boom.

Bro, i read this on the webbikeworld review :

"To start an intercom session, hold the Up button for two seconds and within two to three seconds the link will open and full-duplex (two-way speech) is enabled, although depending on the environment, it can be hard to tell because the background noise levels are extremely low due to the efficiency of the system."

I want check with you whether this is accurate? It seems little 'tedious' to have to press the up button for 2-3 secs to start an intercom session.

How does this work for you in practice? Does it seem 'seemless'? Or is the 2-3 secs 'lag time' become a noticeable inconvenience?

currently using uclear HBC 100 both myself and my gf. (full face helmets for both)

its about 220 for 1. but definitely can get a good deal from motoworld if buying a pair.

PROS:

1) can talk to each other on long rides. as our home to workplace is about 30km.

(advantage is endless. laugh at other drivers, last min maybe she want go somewhere)

2) sync to phone. pick up phone calls on the go. friends last min change location u wont have to reach there den realise.

3) music on the go. listen to music on the way to fetch gf. talk to her on way back.

4)boomless, so no mic. just fit inside helmet and ure done. wires can also be tucked neatly.

CONS

1)its not cheap.

2)there will be abit of discomfort to ur ears if ur helmet foam doesnt have enough clearance to fit the speakers.

(u can slightly cut out or depress helmet foam. but at ur own risk due to safety reasons.

3) its becomes a little soft when going above 110kmph. voice becomes abit more muffled

(might be my settings. ride slow volume too loud. ride abit faster too soft liao.) but the clarity is definitely there.
