buying exhaust from overseas and getting it approved locally ? how to do it ?

im looking at a set of leo vince exhaust for my ride ...but realise its cheaper to get it via amazon or ebay ....its the same exhaust sold locally as approved

 

my question is how do i buy from overseas and get it approved locally ?

inclusive of shipping charges still cheaper than locally , paper work i only know of LTA inspection $53...what else is there ?

local dealer will need to issue you a separate letter confirming tat the exhaust is installed correctly by their authorized workshop, etc etc.

 

and also some brands will require a ownership card.

 

without them, LTA will not inspect or approve your pipe.

they will not. they have to protect their business since they are the sole dealership.

 

they have nothing to gain if they were to issue you the letter/card/whatever..
