Accident happened along Chua Chu Kang Road junction of Teck Whye Lane 20th March'12

Ask something ah, I'm on first lane but off center to the left abit.. Never lane splitting anything. Suddenly the Merc (P-Plate) jus cut to the 2nd lane and stop between 2nd and first lane because infront got accident. So I swerve thru all 6 cars -.- left right left right. I wanna ask, if I really bang that stupid person who jus cut the lane and stop there. Is my fault or his fault? Or both? Curious..

 

U swerved as described coz ur not alert.. If banged, high chance keba failing to control ur vehicle, failing to keep proper look out, dangerous/inconsiderate riding... TP juz choose which 1 for u ..

If you follow the book blindly it is. What if the driver suddenly swerved abruptly in your lane so dangerously close and suddenly stop all in a split second? You will not have a chance to even slow down and will not remember what hit you or what you hit.

If it wasn't bmw but taxi, the rider could have flown all the way home.

for your own safety, full throttle when amber light + car behind u.

 

If it was a PRC truck driver, probably run him over then run away then go back to work tomorrow as if nothing happened.

Sadly its a habit for drivers. Just go out and ride and sure there will be some driver tailgating you.

When you notice some ass of a driver tailgating you, remember to siam ahead, its simply not safe having them tail you...or you can feint braking so they'll back off then siam. That's what I do when I notice them tailgating.

Actually I don't really agree what you had said. Let's say when you're cruising on the middle lane and out of the sudden, one car swerve into your lane and you hit his side. So I still got charged as "failing to control ur vehicle, failing to keep proper look out, dangerous/inconsiderate riding?

When you notice some ass of a driver tailgating you, remember to siam ahead, its simply not safe having them tail you...or you can feint braking so they'll back off then siam. That's what I do when I notice them tailgating.

That is what I have been doing all these years. Either change lane and get as far away or tap the brakes a couple times.

That would be his word against yours and vice versa. Sadly I have yet to meet a driver that will admit it was their fault. They will not hesitate to point the blame on the rider.

The laws in Singapore are archaic and monolithic, much like the Govt. Don't hope on flexibility, unless you have GoPro, which is helpful in proving your case because it is undeniable proof that the mofo sweep you off. I got into this situation before, luckily I changed lane, horn at the guy, he looked, then I gave him a finger, long and obvious enough for him to see.

That's e reason i fix e "back off XP" module.. Just a light tap on e brake, 5 fast blinking rear light is on n summore mine got at least more than 10 led bulbs at e rear, imagine how bright it is lolz.... Once activated, e vehicle behind becomes "auto" back off from me lolz...

Giving a finger is a child's play but of coz unless it satisfy u but for me i ever gpt into ur situation b4.. Wrote in to tp n e errant driver got slapped with a summon n points.. That gave me an orgasm lolz !!!

Since nowsadays pple like to use those cam to record their journey, keeping my cool is e best n after that make a report.. Well it takes years of training to learn to avoid from getting pissed though lolz..

I have always kept my cool ever since the introduction of Stomp. Was planning on getting one of those cams too but guess I was just a few days late which costed my safety.
