Extreme paints cheated me on my paint job

The guys name is eric as i got his credentials from the forum trusted n when there to get a new paint of my super 4 ,agreed on the price to spray the whole bike for 650 with a certain design ,he agreed n said the whole bike but after 1 week the bike was only painted partially on the tank mud guard n a little on the tail ,n when i asked him he said thats what i get for the price i paid n he said would i have agreeed if he told me the truth n what i would have done ,n i said definitly i wont agree but the question is why he didnt tell the truth is that he wont get the job if he did so painted first n showed me the painted motorbike i was frustrated as if not much is done so guys please be careful if u want to patronise this guy ,sweet talking n later carrot wholesale .This guys shop is at ubi block 3006 please beware .

i mean the green but it looks whole black there s nothing in the side box n fairing n he ask for another 300 to do again fully ,he should ask before the job why when half done like putting a gun on your head

Did they repray the black area as well? Or they just add on the green flame?

 

You might have based on a budget for them to decide how much can they do. So they thought with this budget, they can only do so much if needed to spray on the fender, fuel tank and tail. While you THOUGHT the green flame design will be spread at least 80% of your bike (just guessing). To me, it just a matter of different understanding.

 

Custom design are usually more expensive than usual plain paint work. For flame design, it will not look nice if it is on the whole bike. Must have some contrast which is why they don't spray the whole bike with flame?? (ain't sure). While I agree the flame design do have too little coverage but maybe Extreme paint felt this will look the best?

 

Lesson learnt, always ask the paint shop to at least draw a simple sketch of how it roughly look like before you decide to go ahead or not.

In my opinion, the work definitely doesn't look like it's worth $650 but it's really difficult to put a price on creativity.

 

Nevertheless, it is not professional and unethical to do a design partially then ask not more money to complete it.

As of now, we only hear 1 side of story which i felt its unfair for us to judge... Nonetheless, its a lesson learn, if u want to customise ur paintwork, do a sketch or take pics to provide as samples... Diff pple have diff perception, so we have to tell/show e painter wat we exactly wants...

if you want design, i think it's better to spray a base colour, then put on decals. much nicer.

Eric from paint extreme just did my paintwork for me. But for mine I did the whole bike, one solid colour. Did you specifically told him what you want? Like do a rough sketch on a paper then demand for their signature or company stamp or anything that serves the same purpose. This is like going for a haircut, don't just describe briefly and think that people can read your mind. Haha.

 

Otherwise if you did tell him your design explicitly, yet he did not fulfill your requests, you should fight for your case.

well we did discuss on the design colour n to sray the whole bike n he showed me a picture of another bike n how it would look like n he did alot of convincing to me n did it well n i left the bike on the same day dreaming of how it would look like after one week ,but to my surprise n it didnt thats another story but why should he ask more after agreeing to the amount in the first place ,

A lesson learnt too late .

A costly one too.
