Ok i will answer my own question. There is a storage compartment for Dragstar 400 :p

Anyway, consider the following scenario:

Bike stationery, pull in clutch, engage to gear 1, start engine. Will the engine starts?

I sat on a friend's dragstar recently and i could not crank the engine when engaged at gear 1. engine could start when engaged in Neutral only. Is this the norm for Dragstar 400?

It's a safety features with I think most new Japan bikes. Even my friend's old scram has it. You basically can't engage gear with the side stand down. Pretty good considering how many jokers I see on the road riding with their side stand down. heee

haha LOL

and well even if ur side stand is up and you're in gear 1, u cant start it too.

that is another safety feature of dragstar. trust me its useful.... especially in situations where some joker stepped yur gear without your knowledge and u wanted to show off yur new pipes and how they sound like.... having the bike surge forward is the last thing u want happening.. more so when u are not on the bike...

learnt this during sbbf.... ahhaha.. that same scenerio kinda happened to me..

lol! Yea, specially when you accidentally engaged gear when you park your bike and when you start engine next time. Or when you put down side stand and forgot that you're in first gear instead of neutral. You won't want your bike to fly.

hahaha i get wat u guys mean. i guess its just something to get used to.

anyway only 2 spark plugs needed for dragster? super4 uses 4 though.

bro super 4 and dragstar different... shadow and dragstar also different..in fact... the only other bike that u can compare to is the dragstar classic with the dragstar custom.... if u get what i and trying to drive at... so its only worth comparing and be concerned unless my dragstar uses 4 and yours uses 2.

2 spark plugs for Dragstar actually.

I collected my used Dragstar last nite. Despite akwardness of wider turning angle, it is a pretty smooth ride. Engine is pretty quiet. Too clean for my liking. Haha. :)

One issue though. After i rode home last nite, i parked my bike. When i crank the engine again, it wouldn't start. About the 3rd tries, there was a 'pop' sound coming from the exhaust. It could start after that though. What should i do? Wash my carb, change to a better spark plug, etc?

Change ur plugs first. if still same then seek professional help. sometimes it is just something simple. when u take out the old plug see if the tip is it oily or not?
