Getting new bike

Motorshop ask me leave my IC with them tonight, but my bike can only be collected tomorrow evening. Is it safe to leave my IC there overnight? What is he going to do with my IC? Can I just bring my IC tomorrow afternoon?

the shop should be giving u a cover note to say they are holding on yr IC for veh registration purposes.

LTA will need the IC to process the transfer of vehicle from bikeshop to your name.

 

So that's why bike shop will keep the IC - until they find the time to make trip down to LTA on ur behalf.
