Hi, wanna ask if anyone has been caught and fine by LTA because they fitted tail tidy on their bike?

I am aware that if u remove the mudguard, it is not legal in sg.

However, most sports bike I know have some form of mud guard just a few centimeters above their rear tires. I am not talking abt the removal of that in the previous statement but rather the stock tail + number plate considered as mudguard by LTA? So in the case of tail tidy, by reducing the length of the stock tail to just Off-the-shelve tail tidy setup, it is considered as removal of mudguard?

Also, for inspection at STA or VICOM, will they fail you because of tail tidy?

Thanks (Riding a YZF-R125, thus considering changing to either R&G or Evotech tail tidy)

It is illegal.. Even without fixing tail tidy but if ur current mud guard u mod it eg. cut it to make it shorter, its still illegal... Whether inspection centres will pass/fail u, its entirely depends on luck...

Hmmm, I mean the original mudguard untouch...just replacing the tail to a shorter ones like R&G or Evotech Tailtidy...still considered illegal in the eyes of the authority?

Just my two cents.

Just fyi the signal lense needs to be in yellow and make sure lights are not led.

Just install some sort of mud guard.

End of the day, the chances of passing is higher but they can fail you too because its not a stock fairing.

You wont be able to find a clear cut answer.

Youre at the mercy of the inspection centre.

Just some tips.

The angle of the plate seems abit high.

There is no bulb illuminating the license plate.

Fyi. Im in a worse situation than you.
