Bike problem

Dear all,

 

I bought my bike at Bukit Merah Lane on 5/4/12. Realising the engine feels very jerky from rpm 2-6k, I went back to the shop demanding them to do a check for me. After some checks, the mechanic insists it's normal for SP to have such problem & there's nothing he can do. This mechanic is a disgrace to this reputable bikeshop.

 

So I went to Hua Chin to ask them to verify the problem with my bike. He did some checks & realised that something is wrong with my CDI & my bike has not been running on 2T because my 2T tank is still FULL till yesterday. So he changed my CDI, did some tuning & open my 2T flow to the MAX. But there's still no smoke coming out from my exhaust. So Ah Koon suggested my 2T pump might be faulty.

 

For the money I spent at Hua Chin, is it possible to claim against my bikeshop at Bukit Merah?

impossible.. as the bike is able to move when it leave that shop likely they will say its working fine at point of sales.. just rmb the shop for life.. thats what most ppl does..

Hmm, that sucks. I'll just demand that they solve the 2T issue for me. I'm riding a SP that does not emit any smoke

Reputable bikesshop does not mean that all their machanic are expert....sometime u need luck to know a reliable machanic...

 

Dont claim against your bikeshop...next visit go try other machanic...

There was less jerk after he changed the CDI.

 

He did remove the 2T tube to check that's why he suggested 2T pump might be faulty.

 

That's why I went to Hua Chin to find another mechanic. Too bad if I can't claim anything from the bikeshop.

 

He did not have time to check further because it was already 11pm & I can't leave my bike overnight

 

Agreed. I guess TS is still new to bikes.

I'm a P plate now. But I rode SP 8 years ago, forgot all about bikes. Considered "New" again ba

That's why need to check the 2T pump? Riding for 12 days but 2T tank still full is very abnormal. Right?

I think the 2T tube was clogged, which Ah Koon cleared it last night? I parked my bike from 12am till 4pm & there's smoke coming out already. The mechanic at Bukit Merah did not do anything to my bike just now. Just opening up & ensure 2T was flowing.

 

Just a heads up. Careful of NEA.

I think its because most people scared of the shop.

That ahkoon fav food is carrot.. So anything that comes there he sees as carrot and chop chop.. I will only go there IF its an emergency and on a sunday.. Else, pangkah that shop!!
