went to unique wanted to install rox riser but were explained by the mechs that our bike's cables are too short cant use the riser... hope @koma can post some photos here of his rox riser so we know how exactly the cables should be placed

Maybe only lah..... Too much advantages for this bike:P...... I try very hard not to like the bike leh.....hahahahaha especially 30km/l! Easy handling good posture, good low speed control, smooth ride, cheap insurance, rd tax.......etc

Just paid the deposit for the NC700XD this weekend. Looking for the following, any recommendations on which to go for and where to get them?

1) Rear box (preferably with back rest)

2) 12V socket

box got many options leh.. depends on whether you want shad, givi, hepco, honda oem, trax, big box, small box.. almost all have backrest as optional add-on.. depending on your requirement.

12v socket.. can either get from CMO.. or ebay.. or even places like autobacs.. you should be able to ask your bikeshop to install for you when ur bike is here.

Was looking for H&B Xplorer 45L top case. Is Mtech the only place that sells this? Any idea how much this would cost with the rack?

What I like about the H&B box is no need key to latch unlatch. Very convenient. Last heard from fellow rider is no more 45L so if you get a 2nd hand, may cost dearly. But 55L works just as well and room for 2 FF The OEM reflectors I have din stick well though.

Sorry, I was referring to the Junior boxes, not realising you were asking on Xplorer. For me, I don't like aluminium/aluminium-plastics mix. The rivets and joints do not give me the impression it will last and remain watertight for long. It's just a personal opinion though.

 

The key lock can operate independently of the latch, much like some gate lock allows you to take out the key irregardless of whether the locking pin is pushed in or not.

 

For me, morning unlock, unlatch, take helmet, latch w/o locking. When reached destination, unlatch, put helmet, latch, lock. Hope you get the picture If not, go visit the dealer

Welcome to NC! From my 2-day riding experience on the DCT, I'm glad I bought the auto model. I will go crazy trying to shift up/down around 2-2.5krpm, looking at how busy is the DCT working.

 

When is the next meet up? Location? Kkfc? Thomas hans? Ecp Carl junior? Yishun dam?
