May i know where or what can I get for 30 grade Mineral/Synthetic (MA) oil for NC instead of Honda Ultra G1(Mineral 10W30) and G2 Ultra (Semi-Synthetic 10W30)

 

What grade oil do you guys use.

 

40 grade oil have higher fuel consumption no?

For those who service at BS, may I know what mineral and synthetic oils and grades they have. Saw they use Castrol Fully Syn 10W50 in one of bro's receipt :slaphead:

me use mineral 10w40 for 300km n 800km EO change then now switch to 10w40

for my 4000km EO change so far so gd FC seems to be getting better after run in

my fc is still jiatlat. almost 700km haha. yea i guess must run in properly first. my prev tank is 26.8km/l

I'm using mobil 1 10w 40, still able to achieve good FC wor

yes that is what they used, i only let them service once and that is more than enough.

So far only 1 oil change for me so yet to see any difference.

 

So are we saying that 10w40 over 10w50 gives us better FC?

 

Recently, I pumped Shell 98 by mistake (I usually go for 95).

 

Got an extra 2 km/l when I tallied my mileage later. Not sure whether its because I was lighter on the throttle when the tank has 98.

 

Though that extra 2km/l is still not worth the premium 98 commands over 95. =p

Trip report. 3 days Hatyai, 2 days Genting, 1 day KL. On NC700XD. Covered about 2000km in total. With junior 55 top box, ermax windshield and bark busters grip. With pillion. On the whole, bike cruise comfortably between 135 and 145kmh. Once in a while I'll have a go at 160kmh, bike not stressed rider stressed due to turbulence.

Every 200 plus km top up about RM18. Hardly any wet weather so mostly rode on dry roads.

Going up genting on s mode is a joy. There's power enough to go up the steep ascent fast enough without killing yourself. Coming down best stick to S mode as well as D mode is a no go.

Handles heavy traffic in KL easily too. Most times kup can go thru then likely I can go thru too. Drivers there more aware of bikers than the jokers we have here in sg.

yeah having a dct going up curvy mountain road and jams are alot more relaxing than manual clutch haha

ok guys, received my palmer kit yesterday mounted it to the bike and was pretty pleased with results, dont even need to close my visor while riding. I've bought the one with tool-free adjustment kit but the knob was in the way for the mid level due to the honda bracket. IMO this kit should be best fitted with any other windscreens. saw vibrations on the screen while idling, not sure if it's due to the honda metal bracket. if anyone got any other windscreen to let go pls pm me

Hi i am interested on this bike and i like the white model.

I was thinking to get brand new bike but at the same time don't mind to get a 2nd hand bike if the price is right.
