are the gears switching timing almost the same?

 

used to ride a phantom, all bikes are different but dont worry about changing gear timing, its not an issue at all. u will get used to it.

if its 16.5k everything in its good price...

please check if GST and coe is in...

cause most guys got theirs at 18+k everything in exclude insurance...

so the price of 16.5k is a bit too good to be true even with recent slight drop in insurance...

most shops quote OTR is without insurance but with coe and all fees in...

cause insurance is different for all...

but some shops interprets OTR differently...

My buddy juz got his ncx at 17.8k w/o ins considered 1 of è best qoute he gotten liao... coe drop slightly to 1.7k so maybe can see a further dip of 1-2 hundred bucks in sellin price

It seems like a lot of of the first badge of NCX are letting go? Feels weird but ticker to change better bike,huh? Thought of changing to Tiger 800Xc but had thrown in a lot of accessories in NCX....

Last week, Honda announced that they are shaving $500 off RRP for the NC700 series to bring the price of the bikes in line with the launch of CTX700 series this summer.

Get a Tiger 800XC! You won't regret, but price is higher compare to Honda.Tiger is tough, meant for long distances while NCX is meant for urban.Don't compare fc with conti n jap bikes.

i'm not sure about the won't regret part. ah beng from bikeworkz was telling me the tiger 800 full of issues and when want to get parts also damn difficult even for bikeworkz

 

but i agree that these two bikes are for two different purposes. not really a good substitute for each other.

Rofl. I'm not talking to you specifically. Why so serious? i'm not arguing with you and we're both happy owners of NC. I'm just saying to all reading that everyone needs and likes different things. I'm not here to start a keyboard war. Just hope we can all enjoy this bike together instead of fighting amongst ourselves and/or competing with different bikes.

 

I think its very hard to express feelings on the keyboard... not taking it seriously at all... just that I find it stupid to argue in a place where information should be shared... so no hard feelings... Seriously...

How difficult would it be to organise a little run up North with these two bikes head to head?
