I think so too... And the baffle makes the exhaust looks like a small bike (outlet of the baffle looks small)...

 

But to each it's own... No offense to those using the arrow exhaust

New NC rider here. What is the recommend speed for running in? Told by shop, should not over 4k rpm. But gear 6, 3k++ rpm already hit 100kmh++.

its normal for manual...

130 about 3.6k rpm...

No, I am using Arrow, the sound was almost identical from stock.It is smoother but sound wise is around the same as stock so it can be LTA friendly.How loud you want? It's only a parallel twin, like a maxi scooter.If you want louder take out the baffle! Most of the after market end-can's are almost the same sound unless you want to take risk of using illegal brands.

seems true coz a friend of mine oso says that after market exhausts have almost d same noise level as d stock. d only diff is d pick up,brand & price tag.

Could this be the reason why the exhaust doesn't sound as fierce as other twin?

 

270 degree crank.

 

Other Twin uses 180 and 360 crank degree.

Btw, what is the fb name for sg nc700x riders? I used to follow up till the admin privatised. Sigh~

FB link is on the front page of this thread... maintenance wise depending on what eo and spark plug u using... only 2 spark plug which last damn long and 3.4L of e.o. interval depending on warranty... supposingly can last 12k as per manual

Good bike. Smooth ride. Pick up speed to 160++ kmh is a bit slow on NSH but i feel its managable. Nimble n sleek handling. Petrol consumption from EDL Kempas to Pedas Linggi Petronas just after Ayer Keroh Petrol station bridge (Caltex station under renovation) on 140-160+km/h is about 12-13 litres.. Ron 97 in 1hr 45mins+-. Petrol bar start blinking just before Ayer Keroh to Melaka exit. A nice end can would be nice as I find it too quiet cruising on NSH. The headlamp is bright n wide which is good. Excellent feel on wide n tight twisty road. Suspension is good feel for now. Might change after 50K mileage.

for mine, i travel from GP esso -> Pagoh speed about 140km/h, i get about 25km/litre

Just do a search online... Cost should be around 150-160. Shipping varies... I bought mine pretty ex... But understandable since people need to earn...
