In many places bikes needa squeeze through the gap of the gantry barrier to get into the carpark.. Any issues of parking at these carparks? Any experience can share share

Currently TR3-150 is no more in production. The latest model is called I ME 150 WEL BIKE. It is a similar 3-wheeler scooter from PGO scooter.

 

Machine price for the I ME 150 is $7.7k, add COE & insurance equals to OTR price.

Hi there. Welcome to the scooters family.

 

The difference is the outlook, body panels different. Both TR3-150 & I ME 150 is using the same engine.

I ME 150 uses a flat type of rear tyre for better traction over the TR3-150 conventional round standard tyres similar to the 2-wheelers types.

 

FAQ:

Q: Can TR3-150 fit those flat tyres?

A: Sure. It is the same size, difference is the area of

contact is different, plus better grip.

 

Parts likewise, no issues at all. PGO scooters have been in Singapore for more than 20 years & the agent have not been changed & parts are readily available.

 

Singpost is using a fleet of TR3-150 for their mail delivery. No problem over the next 10yrs or more for parts.

TR3 is still in production, but only in 50cc version. It is a 2-stroke version & only on sale in some parts of Europe.

What is the average FC of pgo tr3-150 ?

 

Any reccommended fuel to pump ?

 

Mine FC is pretty low now. Just refilled Esso 5000. Will measure again.

The flat tyres will affect the FC slightly, but not much.

 

Average FC for TR3-150 is about 30-32km/L. 5L of petrol will give you an average of about 150-160km range.

 

FC will be affected on bike's condition;

-tyre pressure, recommended- 28-30psi (200-210Kpa) for front, 30psi (210Kpa) for rear.

-quality of engine oil, grade of engine oil as well, recommended- fully syn. engine oil 10W40 grade (Replace every 3-4k km).

-air filter condition, replaced every 10k km, service every 5k km.

-brand of petrol & grade of petrol. recommended- Shell 98, Caltex 98.

So far no problems for me squeezing through gantry barriers.

 

But when there is humps, only 1 rear wheel will go up the hump. So best to ride slowly.

1st gen TR3-150 comes with single shock, 2nd gen comes with dual shock for better stability.

Latest model is the IME 150 Wel Bike comes with Dual Shock & flat rear tyres.

I suppose that unit u tried is the 1st gen single shock on the left, just behind the air filter box.

 

The current model with twin rear shock is very stable & easy to ride. Thks to the 2 rear flat tyres.
